[Seoul: Gangnam Station] Mies Container

this is the hooters for females. a ‘container’ with hot macho men serving you? hell yeah! this place always have a queue too. so be prepared to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. there’s 2 shops in Gangnam; one near exit 9 and another near the CGV area.

IMG_3779 copy

this is the bigger one near exit 9. and the queue was really long. although it isn’t noticeable in this picture. and upon entry, you’ll always be greeted with loud manly voices which fills the entire restaurant. Continue reading “[Seoul: Gangnam Station] Mies Container”

#1 Belgian waffle. sometimes it’s really costly but sometimes it can be rather fair.  but the one above costed around 16,000won (that is RM48 holyyyyyy). friend bought it but still it was T________T. we had it in a nice cafe at Samcheongdong. the cheaper ones would cost around 3,000won ^^. but of course much smaller and.. there’s no fruits and ice cream haha. and view. [Seoul: Myeongdong] Myeongdong Gyoja 명동 교자

if you’ve been to Myeongdong you might’ve spotted this shop with a LONG queue (almost always) called the Myeongdong Gyoja. well, if you’re a foreigner it is not like you would be able to read it because I do not think they have an english translation for it. anyways, it’s next to the back of the H&M on the main street (not the one at NOON complex).

IMG_0341 copy

it isn’t hard to spot as they have that long queue of people and the all maroon and white sign. Continue reading “[Seoul: Myeongdong] Myeongdong Gyoja 명동 교자”

[Seoul: Hongdae] 아뜰리에 데코아발림 Atelier Decoa Ballim

one of the best cheesecake they said. I read about this cafe on many blogs and they have all given awesome comments on their not-so-mainstream cheesecake.

IMG_3537 copy

located at Hongdae; or  near Sangsu Station exit 1. included a map at the bottom of the post =). this place look like they serve very nice brunch as well but I forgot to take a picture of their very cute menu. =D. I think I am losing the blogging sense =S. Continue reading “[Seoul: Hongdae] 아뜰리에 데코아발림 Atelier Decoa Ballim”

My 21st Birthday!

or 22 in Korean age.

finally I can enter Zouk without worrying if they’ll check my IC. oh well, not like I will be able to go to Zouk anytime soon. at least now I can go to the Casino too. basically everywhere in Malaysia. I heard there are bars which only people over age of 30 could enter in Japan and there are clubs in Korea which doesn’t allow people over 30 hahaha.

but seriously, shit I feel so old T______T. I don’t exactly feel like I am 21 yet. I am still such a kiddo. super childish =S.

on my birthday, it’s actually the “chukje/festival” week for my school so nobody was free. like NOBODY. but thank goodness I had Kenji to spend it with =3.

Korean Indian Curry? (CLOSED)

Korean Curry?

had a lot of them, in fact. my boarding house cooks it every week.

Indian Curry?

well, I am from Malaysia. =D.

Korean Indian Curry? now that’s a fusion. if the shop isn’t operated by Indians and their shop is labelled as an “Indian Curry” shop. be prepared to try the weirdest curry of all the weirdest curry. the Korean Indian Curry.

went to this shop I’d always walked pass in Hongdae. it’s next to that scary comedy theater. it’s called “DELHI”. if you’re facing Hongik University, go to your left and walk straight and you will see it on the left hand side of the road.

IMG_1578 copy

finally paid this famous (I think, judging that every time I walk pass, it’s pretty filled.) a visit and to my surprise, it is actually not bad! I wouldn’t say it is cheap food but it is IN budget. and definitely cheaper compared to the authentic Indian Curry restaurants here in Seoul. Continue reading “Korean Indian Curry? (CLOSED)”

[Seoul: Sinchon] Cafe Container : Patbingsu Tower

so a few days ago Wai Kit sent me a picture of this tower patbingsu and asked me if I was interested. I’ve known about this oreo patbingsu for a long time since I often walk pass it. but little did I know, their oreo patbingsu is incredulously tall.

IMG_2024 copy

the location is rather easy to find. it’s on that road from U-plex (Sinchon) towards Megabox (Edae). for foreigners it might be a little tricky. but just get off at Sinchon (line 2 green line) and take the the U-plex (complex exit and you will see the red mirror tube thingy) exit. cross over to the other side of the road (you will see Etude House on the other side of the road.). you should see Krispy Kreme, Look Optical and Olive young on your side of the road as you walk. just walk straight!!!!!!!!!!! about 5 minutes walk. just keep on your side of the road. [Cheongju] 청주, visiting the filming set of Baker King Kim Tak Goo and Man of Honour!

I am not sure if I should say that I am lazy to split the post into a few parts or I am too hardworking that I’ll blog one whole long post. but I consider myself lazy so here goes. I went to Cheongju to see my best friend, Peter, who came out from the army for holidays. his family lives in Cheongju and hence I had to take a bus down to Cheongju. it takes around 90minutes to arrive and costs 8,000won from Dong-Seoul station. I went to Cheongju twice in a week actually. but I will blog about my first part as I did not take too many pictures the 2nd time.
