in remembrance of a dear friend.

I posted this more than a month ago on facebook. I hope that everyone will treasure not only your family but even your friends. and do not make the same mistake as I did. the truth was, I was so busy I had always told him that I’d talk to him later but I was always so occupied I barely even remembered. so dear all, I truly hope that you can treasure your dearest friends before it is too late.. yummy way to lose weight.

there are just so many ways to lose weight in South Korea. but the thing is are you disciplined enough. well me, I am not. but because of the increasing number of lazy fat girls like me, they came out with the best way. you do not need to eat less nor skip meals. all you need to do is replace your meals with Ottugi’s Cup Noodle.

why? because it is only contains 120kcal! I am not being paid to write this. they have several flavour like the Udon, Jjimdalg, Prawn.. but my favourite is the spicy one. it is just so good. basically they are glass noodles in freaking delicious soup and a cup noodle like this only costs around 1,000won depending on where you buy it. I’ve seen it selling in Carrefour (Cheongdam) for only 890won while some places are selling it for 1,200won. there is a bigger cup with slightly more calories for beginners hahahaha. HONEY BREAD!

there is nothing I like better than honey bread in cafes! the best one is at Coffine Gurunaru and the other one that I always have is at Angel in Us. which Kate calls Angelanus because of some video she watched. pffft.

they serve a good standard honey bread where they call it maple syrup bread or something but you can always say honey bread and they’d give you the same thing ^^. Continue reading “HONEY BREAD!”

Spring like Summer.

Korea’s Spring is….. well, almost non existence. it is so bloody hot.

the moment it started getting warmer… oh wait, the moment it just suddenly got hot, the flowers all bloom and they weren’t very pretty this year because of the constant hot and cold. and now it is completely hot.

it’s only like 25-28degrees in the day while it’s 34degrees in Malaysia but it feels SO MUCH HOTTER here. almost like hell. your sweat will be oozing out from your pores and even if you do not move, you’d sweat. apparently some Malaysians who came here for their holidays told me that it’s pretty much the same in Malaysia but I refuse to believe so. it is DEFINITELY MUCH HOTTER HERE. their humidity is so crazy that molds are starting to grow in my room. no joke. and there’s no water inside my room.

[Jeonju] of Jeonju and yogurutu

I am a little crazy, you can say. because I went back to Jeonju in a month. well, I took full advantage of my privilege as a foreigner because it’s only until end of this year foreigners can travel here for free =S. the last time I came here, I had awesome Galbitang but this time I came here for it’s famous Jeonju Bibimbap. the next time? Ddeok Galbi FOR SURE.

but there’s something more. the yoghurt (they call it the yogurutu). I don’t know how can I put this, but it’s the best yoghurt I’ve ever had. a huge bottle for 4,000won. it was pretty expensive to me at first but after I tried it, I can assure you that it’s a steal!

I am preeeeeeeeetty busy these days, with my presentation and all, but I’m done with it now, so wait up for more of my Jeonju and Busan posts!

좋은 호떡 아저씨

the title means the kind “Hoddeok” guy.

공기 호떡 (gong-gi hoddeok, which means empty hoddeok) is more like a traditional type of Korean bread. his van is placed right at the entrance of Yonsei’s main gate. it’s quite impossible to not see it. I’ve passed by it for months now and finally decided to give it a try. but being the girl who always run out of change, I handed him a 10,000won note for a 800won hoddeok. and he was out of change.

but you know what?

he told me to just take it. U________U. *touched*. such nice people still exist! and to my surprise, even though his hoddeok is empty, but it’s SUPER DUPER delicious. I now regret why did I not give it a try from the start. I’ve heard a lot of hoddeoks taste bad but his is so good. it’s crispy and the inside’s fragrantly sweet. can’t describe much. must try it yourself. please buy more! it’s yummy. 3 for 2,000won!

A day with Joseph Germani.

if you’re Malaysian and frequents youtube, you might know Joseph.

Joseph has been a good friend of mine since my high school days as he’s a classmate of my neighbour. hmm. the truth is, I forgot how I met him. if it wasn’t from my neighbour it must be from events or friends. hahaha. I guess it’s too long ago and I have a terrible memory on how I meet people =S.

anyway, we managed to film 2 short films alongside with Dan Khoo (our director!), Sam and 2 Bryans. one of it will be released tomorrow! so just click HERE to view his youtube channel. this is so exciting because it’s my first time acting in a short film!
