Korean Guys.

hi. I would like to first tell you that this does not apply to all. but a portion of them. and it is just my own culture shock on it.

lets start with being careful on going out with a Korean guy one on one. my Korean friends told me that it is UNUSUAL for people who have no interest in each other here to go out one on one. I don’t understand much but I hang out with my guy friends who I am very sure that I have no interest in and vice versa a lot. Continue reading “Korean Guys.”

[Seoul] Cherry Blossoms. <3.

since it’s over, I feel like I am responsible to tell you that there are completely no more Cherry Blossoms around Sinchon anymore. and I don’t think they have it anywhere else either since it’s gone for 2 weeks already. sucks because I was so busy with school during the perfect blooming time. but it wasn’t so bad because we have it all around my school and Sinchon.

My Korean Pension Experience.

don’t get it wrong. I don’t mean the monthly income one gets for working for the government.

PENSIONS are very famous in Korea. they are like.. vacation houses people would rent just for a night or two to have fun in. usually very well facilitated. they provide things like shampoo, soap, hair dryer and toothpaste in the washroom and plenty of plates, cutleries, knives, etc. in the kitchen.

but that is not all. they had an awesome floor heating system and as well as a huge flatscreen tv.

I think it was just because it was US, they even gave us plenty of food, junks and even a soap giftbox! this is called “service” in Korea. which literally means free stuff =3. if you frequent a shop or if the owner or worker like you, they would give you service! [Seoul] PATBINGSU!

so, what do you call the shaved ice you see people eating in dramas?

patbingsu.

pat = red bean
bingsu = shaved ice.

my friend was telling me how awesome this shop is and how different it is compared to other shops. it’s located at Sinchon near the Jjambbong shop I wrote earlier. it’s exterior is in light brown wood and usually filled with people. corner shop so it’s easy to spot =3. will eat there again and this time take more pictures but just so you know how awesome these patbingsu’s are in Korea, here’s a post for you. hehe.

[Cheongdo] Wine Tunnel <3. 청도 와인 터널.

this must be the place that I love the most in Cheongdo.

hint to my future husband whoever he may be, I want you to propose to me here. *coughs*. (super tiring to go all the way to Cheongdo just for the occasion perhaps T_T)

when it rains here, it doesn’t stop. not that it ever rains a lot like in Malaysia until trees get blown down. but here, it rains non stop. sometimes for 24 hours straight, which is pretty annoying. I guess rains like this only happen to places that have 4 seasons haha. Continue reading “[Cheongdo] Wine Tunnel <3. 청도 와인 터널.”

[Cheongdo] Bull Fighting Festival 청도 소 싸움 축제

the good thing about not being shy in class is…….. your chance of experiencing something awesome is larger.

so during level 3 (and every alternate term or year I heard.) you get to visit a faraway place for FREEEEEEEEE. yes, you read it right. FREEEEEEEE. if you hadn’t already know, I shall inform you that travelling anywhere out of the Gyeonggi area would cost quite a lot. especially down South. Cheongdo is somewhere near Busan and Daegu and hence it’ll really cost a lot if we were to come here by ourselves. Continue reading “[Cheongdo] Bull Fighting Festival 청도 소 싸움 축제”

that awkward moment when..

you recognized yourself in the background of a picture a stranger took.

I followed this guy a while ago when he liked my picture as his pictures always had a very nice composition. not too long ago I even commented on one of his pictures saying that I walk pass that area very often.

and just now, I saw a picture of the  Baskin Robbins shop I always go to. and after looking at the picture for a LITTLE BIT LONGER. I saw myself. D=!!!!!!!!!
