hello. last 2 weeks was “the week” of the year. I hadn’t been busy much since I’m on the longest holidays I’ve ever had. but it was really a busy night. 3 nights out! all in a row!

first up was the Beta Launch of Slosht @ Bakita, KL (near palette palette). as part of MHB, I was invited!

Slosht = party with cheap booze = more fun.

it was so filled and happening especially on the upper deck! it was filled with hot chicks and dudes of.. all ages!!! except the underage. hahaha.

we then headed for our 2nd round of the night at Library, KL for it’s Launch!

Soren (TALL guailo from Carlsberg!)  had us served with awesome food and beer and we were all so full before leaving for.. our third round of the night at Zouk (pictures still with Andy. haha).

on Friday, it was Jeremy Teo’s BIG BOY birthday. despite being so old *tsk tsk* he’s very young at heart and he’s also one of my most important friends =D. his friends threw him a last minute birthday party at Zouk and Sam and I plotted to give him a surprise.

oh right, I made that pendant for Jere’s birthday =D.

I met Jere years ago when I was still 16 in a.. unisex toilet. haha. odd but true. it was one of the most memorable Nuffnang Events (as they always are! I’m a Nuffnang girl =D) because I befriended the most strangers on that night.

about HOOFED. I really cannot neglect this. their food is so GOOD.

I’ve not had anything like that before T_T. everything is related to pork. on your way up (it’s on a 2nd floor, above Tom, Dick and Harry, TTDI.) you can see flying pigs all over the wall. it’s soooo cute!

SIU YOK. I usually hate sui yok because it’s.. salty. but their’s are so good. U_U. I am not paid to say this. it’s true. perhaps if you’re from PJ, you’d hear about this awesome place from your friends.

food is no joke to me.

no doubt great desserts as well U_U. super rich cheesecake with super rich brownies.

BANANARAMA! honestly, until now I’ve been trying to figure out what this is. it’s my favourite among all the desserts served that night. as you can probably guess from it’s name. it’s bananas with chocolate and nuts.. with I don’t know what else. milk and whipped cream perhaps? D=. please try it.

Happy Birthday MHB!

HELLO ALL! last Saturday was the GRAND FINALS for S.O.X. All-Stars Hoops ’11! located at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort on a rainy morning, the boys shone brightly with all their crazy moves and enthusiasm!

why is the match this year a lot more exciting compared to the last? well, they have upgraded the 3-on-3 to 5-on-5 now! and that’s world class. >=3.

was sick (still am =S. sorry for having to look at my sick face T_T. wuwuwuwu.) so don’t ask me why am I wearing long sleeves during this horribly hot weather. haha. the competition started at 8am but it didn’t regret anybody for waking up so early because it IS AWESOME. there were quite a number of performances by our very own local celebrities, Da Monster and the professional dance team, Elecoldxhot!

nail checking time! so that nobody is harmed by long nails! =D. always good to have such precautions. and they were really strict! a boy had.. not too long nails and he was still told to cut them shorter!

but the horror of the day is. I sat facing the light. my pictures taken for a few hours ended up.. terrible on my computer. but luckily I noticed Ming sitting on the other side, where all the photographers are!

but sitting on this side has its disadvantages. a ball almost hit me.. more than 5 times. D=. but I wasn’t THAT unlucky, it ALWAYS misses me. =D!

one thing awesome about basketball is that, even if you’re about to shoot, you might not get to shoot. the reason why basketballers should be tall is so that nobody can be in their way =P.

every game was furious, it’s true. it’s nothing like watching it on TV. in reality, the games make your heart throb.

Elecoldxhot! it took me forever to guess how it’s pronounced. until I get to know that they are very very popular by the two teenage girls sitting beside me and they call them “Elec-tro-shot”! =D.

but these boys were really something. it is NO WONDER that girls are so madly in love with their dance moves =P.

what makes basketball so exciting to watch must be their urge to basket the ball. they’ll do ANYTHING. I repeat, ANYTHING just to win a point!

my favourite team =D. those in red; SMK Methodist (ACS) VS. Pei Chun High School. it was a real tough match. both were good. but of course my favourite one is better <3.

AH!!! MY FAVOURITE TEAM GOT INTO THE GRAND FINALS! I’ve rooted for the red DNA team (SMK Methodist) because they have great strategies. they pretend to look as if they want to throw the ball into the basket, but they end up passing it to a friend whose not guarded by any rivals. SO SMART!! and they kept doing it but it works EVERY TIME! it was like playing the psychology game. awesomeness!

and guess what? MY EYES ARE GOLDEN. the team I rooted for since I first saw them, TOOK THE CHAMPIONSHIP AWAY! congrats!

MING! I have been a fan of her blog ever since I saw her on MDG (Msian Dream Girls). she was my favourite. not only because she’s as beautiful as a piece of art, but it’s also because she is an artsy girl! she’s a fashion blogger and the way she dresses up makes me want to diverge a little to fashion too. but that also mean that I have to own an entire new wardrobe. I’ll just dream on for the whole new wardrobe but thou shalt wait just a little more for me to get more fashionable! rawr!

H-Artistry is one of the events I’d never miss. and this time, it’s held in Mist! =D. honestly, I am not a big fan of partying (eg. meeting new people in somewhere dark ain’t my thing =X). but HA is different, it’s partying with top artists and it also brings you and your friends together, and that’s where all the fun comes in!

brought my neighbour, Aaron there since.. it’s more convenient and I hadn’t actually hung out with him since secondary school ended T_T. we used to carpool and go to the same tuition too!

live performances are the best (usually. other than those who autotune their music =X) and you’ll only be able to party with such awesome artists only on H-Artistry. they had brought so many artists over I feel so grateful towards them U_U. boys like girls, lenka, da mouth…. I just noticed that I’ve met quite a number of them =D.

and this time, RESHMONU! to be frank, I was actually a little sick but I still wanted to come because I am a big fan of Reshmonu ever since he came out with his song ” it’s you that matters”. its the first time me seeing him live too despite him being Malaysian T_T. but no doubt! he rocked the partay!

this is DJ TRIMIX! since I really don’t know any DJ’s other than DJ Goldfish (I’m a fan, don’t you know?), I didn’t care much about the DJ’s. but the thing is, DJ Trimix is REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD. he got me on the dancefloor for the longest period. he’s really unique. he mixes the sweet voices of some hidden female gems into his catchy trance music. superb!

and I caught him leaving the stage so YAY! I had a picture with him =D.

and look who I bumped into? Malaysia’s famous violinist! Dennis Lau!

had blisters on the sole of my feet right after but it’s definitely worth it =D.

and a tip from me : always wear something you’d feel comfortable in because you don’t wanna end up looking stiff and suffer in pain only you yourself know. you’re supposed to have fun anyway! .

it was quite some time ago, not long after my Japan trip where I returned fat and dry. it was Jason’s 2xth. and it’s the third time spending his birthday with him. he’s always 12 to me. because the first time I met him, we became instant friends and he told me he’s only 12 when I told him my true age, which is 16 at that time. hahaha.

things I have to say about Jason? well, Jason is.. Jason. he is very difficult to read. he has awesome photography and photoshop skills. hmm what more… and is absolutely funny with whatever ‘quotes’ he make, and it’ll start becoming a trend. one of it was, “DAMN NICE!” in the Jason tone. haha.

my Aglio Olio with duck meat. it was pretty good I’d say. Frames @ Sunway Pyramid is actually famous for it’s quiet atmosphere which makes it comfortable for their guests chat with their friends =D.

it was a coincidence I must say, that Nuffnang organized an event at the same place. slightly earlier. I knew about it being on the same day but I didn’t thought it would be in the same place!

Asia’s most famous blogger, Wendy aka Xiaxue. she’s one of my favourite blogger =D=D=D. do read her blog! she’ll make you keep reading. it’s like how serif font’s won’t make you get tired from reading! haha. I just learned that today. that sans-serifs is least suitable for lengthy texts!

Audrey (fourfeetnine) and Timothy! it was such an awesome event with all the great bloggers there! missing out Suet Li T_T. I have yet to meet her U_U.

there were actually quite a lot of pictures, but I was having a bad skin day that time.. and I don’t think you’d like to see them. haha! =P. (my skin only looked okay when taken far away. pfft. and most of them were camwhored T_T.) always remember to moisturize your face with a great amount of hydrating cream when you’re going to a cold and dry place T_T. don’t underestimate 6 degree celcius. pfft.

The AWESOME Photo Wall! And hence I wrote AWESOME on my bubble card. =P. there are Superman and woman, Catwoman, Mr and Mrs Incredible and many more! But the next one happening on the 1st of June at 7atenine, will be themed.. SUPER VILLAINS.

There are 4 specially invented cocktails (but I have yet to try all of it!) and here’s Juggernaut (tallest one), Captain Jack (the short one) and Red Sonja (the one I’m holding). There’s still Lady Luck for me to try in the upcoming event!

Juggernaut and Captain Jack is more of a man’s drink. I like how it tastes but it’s a bit strong for me while Red Sonja is really really nice for.. me. a girl. It’s sweet and yummy!

We had Superwoman and Superman to serve us that day =P. The guys were gawking at the superwoman and I on the other hand.. of COURSE I didn’t gawk at the superman! =X.

Do you remember me mentioning about the mixing your own cocktail event? Well, I had my shot! Even though I spilled SOMEEE juice on the table U_U but I still had fun!

One thing I like about Library is the ambience. It’s always so comfortable and the bands are always so awesome. Great vocals, great band, great everything!

I’m not sure if it is because this Library is new, but this Library is the one with the best decorations so far! It’s so English I feel like I’m in UK.

My two winners with the drinks we made ourselves! You know you want to learn how to make these drinks too. Hint : using strawberry as a mixer is super yummy.

it is so hard to believe. I turned 19. it’s like, way over sweet 16. T_T. I sound old now. I don’t understand how can I still feel so young and childish. I really need to grow! even though I don’t know how will I eventually grow hahahaha.

besides, it’s my last year of being a teenager T_T. oh my.

this is my Opera cake. Opera cakes are awesome. they taste fantastic! looks fantastic as well!

my sister went to fetch my cake and she only took.. one candle. either she’s insulting me that I’m way too old to show my age or.. I am just 1/10 years old. pfft. so my mom digged al the extra candles (though all in different HUGE sizes) and ALSO because the cake’s surface is.. pretty much of a slab of thick chocolate, the candles would ruin the cake. so we stuck it outside. so, there’s 9 candles in various shapes OUTSIDE the cake.

it’s so funny when my guy friend said “HEY! LOOK AT MAH ANGRY BIRD!” ehehehehe. =P.

until the day before, Lam Sem asked me if I would like to go for lunch! =D! YES PLEASE! a few days ago he told me about this korean sashimi restaurant and I got SO CURIOUS because I’ve never had sashimi in a korean restaurant before D=. so we went there for my birthday! =D. it was awesome. I hadn’t meet him for a long while and there were so many things to catch up on. we met because of o2jam(a game) and he’s my in-game husband wahahahha.

the restaurant is located at Ampang’s Korean village. same row as Lotte Mart. right at the end. that one with red bricks.

and for dinner, these 3 best friends, Ginny, Vivien and Natalie were there to accompany me through my 19th U_U. *touched*. it was a fun girls day out =D =D. talked and laughed the whole night! I think this year’s birthday pretty much pawned every other year. =3.

their gift to me! <3. AWWWWWWWWW. it was so cute the waitress got so interested on where it is bought and how it tastes like. it tastes really good in my opinion. usually cupcakes are only nice to see. but these wondermilk cupcakes tastes wonderful, just like the name =D.

and Natalie and Viviens sang so loud both me and Ginny got shy! but it was so fun, I have to admit. <3!!!!
