[Malaysia: PJ] Umai-ya, another place to eat!

it was actually a day before yesterday, me along with a few bloggers went to dine at Umai-ya, a great Japanese restaurant, and I’m not bluffing, it’s really really good, I’ve never liked tempura, but now I do. hehe.

Umai-ya

a shop located at Uptown Damansara Utama. so, WELCOME TO UMAI-YA! thanks to… Jason, Simon then the boss of the shop. =D. BECAUSE, Jason invited me whom is invited by Simon whom is invited by the boss of the shop, KK. *phews*. Continue reading “[Malaysia: PJ] Umai-ya, another place to eat!”

To My Daddy.

15th of August, my dads birthday, now I’m 16 and I don’t remember celebrating with him every year. I really want to, but can’t because he’s working far away in China.

this post is fully dedicated to my dad.

every year, we usually call him and wish him Happy Birthday and also send him an online E-card. but now I wonder, are E-cards really special? they’re all animated and all words and messages are usually written. sending a card there takes 2 weeks and it might not reach too sometimes, torn or wet too maybe. so the best way to keep it all right to me would be by posting it online.

easy way out to memorize Bio’s digestive process!

for the Form 4 or Form 5 students, especially those in Science, we would all have the difficulties to memorize stuffs, and especially for history which I couldn’t figure out whats the difference between khalifah and khadilah and khalidah. and the main thing is, they’re alike and not interesting. SO! 2 days ago in class me and my friend were being total sampats (lamers) and made out equations in “words” so that we will find it easier to memorize. =D. [Malaysia: KL] CWZJ part II

food is one of the biggest reason why I want to live, is it to you too?

CWZJ board

YUM! I’m not saying this because my cousin owns it, it is because it is really good thats why I’m telling you about it. =D. Cha Wang Zi Jia (or something like that) is a place where those who loves tea used to hang out a decade ago. but in this 10 years, it have changed from an small little restaurant that is built out of aluminum pieces to a cozy and pretty restaurant now in Kuchai Lama. =D. I basically grew up always eating here. there are soooo many nice dishes that they invent and now there are new ones, it’s not like one original recipe and you can eat it everywhere, like maybe asam laksa which either taste good or bad but it’s still asam laksa, but these are a new stuffs! but of course, theres always sashimi! <3 Continue reading “[Malaysia: KL] CWZJ part II”

Bon Odori! =3

I’m all recovered from my food poisoning thingy, but surprisingly, I’m STILL sick. flu, sore throat, fever…

WOOOOW. saturday was one tiring day. I slept in the cinema for a few times watching a great movie. I guess it does show how sleepy I am right? woke up before 5 and slept at 2 the day before it, so total I only slept for 3 hours, THEN, went to that competition thing until 4pm and arrived at Bon Odori with my SCHOOL SHOES and some clothes which is not my school uniform of course. THEN, left at 9 and went for a movie at 11.30. came home at 1 something. tiring enough?

[Singapore] a week of Singapore III

last part already! hurray! or not.

okay! let me tell you what is most attractive in Singapore. no no not the clothes, not the beautiful trees also, and absolutely not the expensive taxi’s although I must admit that it’s extremely comfortable, but still EXPENSIVE!

the most attractive thing is.. PAPAYA MILK! must ask the auntie to add milk and honey to the papaya juice, or else sure not so nice. =P.

[Singapore] a week in Singapore II

on the third day, we went to BUGIS STREET! it’s like the most crowded street and it’s more or less like Sungei Wang in Malaysia, just a different style. it’s actually the nicest place to shop. first, the prices are reasonable, and second the clothes are pretty! and also the food there rocks. =P. Just take the MRT to Bugis and go up from Exit C and you’ll see it.

the expensive dress I bought from Orchard is ALSO sold here for at least SGD20 cheaper! damn regret I tell you. *puffs*. as for the price, the dresses/shirts/pants/whatever are ranged from SGD10 to SGD35. the clothes are WONDERFUL, I could have bought more if I were richer. haha. had so much fun in there. although very small, but it’s quite like a maze, you’ll probably get lost in there and never come across to the same shop again. also do bring along your most comfortable shoe despite how ugly it might look because you’ll buy one when you’re there if you don’t have one, high heels are totally off unless you plan to take taxi everywhere. short distance already cost 12$ (RM 25?).

as for the food, I’ve not tried much, but the juices are really worth it, my favourite banana and papaya <3 just for 1 dollar! and the sausages are splendid too! I have to admit that it is not a high-class place, but it’s a fun place to shop for clothes. (unless I’m a BILLIONAIRE, I will just go for all the branded stuff, which I think might be a little more boring.)

I don’t have a picture of Bugis Street but then the sign there is so big that you’ll not not notice it. =)

[Singapore] a week in Singapore I

actually it’s 6 days to be exact.

it’s my first time in Singapore, don’t ask me why. it’s just so embarrassing to tell my friends that I’ve not been there (used to think it’s just like Malaysia, but I am so wrong). so now I need to go there once and for all to get my pride! but for now, I think I’ll be able to go there anytime already, since it’s so efficient. =D. it’s greater than what I expected! like finding Malaysians all over Hong Kong. people there speak more or less like Malaysians and the MRT there is just like the MTR in Hong Kong! and not only MRT, the buses there are also damn efficient. if I’m living in Singapore I won’t need to always BEG my sister and mother to fetch me out to malls which they usually won’t. the KTM comes like 30mins or more once and it moves like a snail. yes, like a SNAIL. it’s always packed and sometimes it’s so packed that your ass will “glide” with somebody elses. seriously la, if our country’s public transport can be more efficient, we won’t have any “masalah kesesakan lalu lintas” (traffic jams). Marie Digby <3 <3

gaining popularity from her youtube video “umbrella” and now having tonnes of fans. half japanese and half irish, Marie Digby is was in town! if you haven’t heard of her, please go LOOK for her video. =P. if you’re a guy, you might drool =D. last Thurs she performed at 1Utama, which is very damn far from my house. gotta rush there all the way right after my long 3 hour tuition eventhough I was feeling so so tired and slimy. but it’s all worth it I guess? she’s a great person, love the songs she wrote <3. Thanks Josh Lim (Advertlets) for the invite and priority pass alsooo, if not I’d be waiting for that super duper long queue to just get her signature, which I will most likely not do that as I am having an exam the next day.
