JasonpOp =P.

HELLO EVERYBODY. I am finally a little free from my tight tuition schedule and now FINALLY free to post this up. (I still have a lot of homework T__T).

we all celebrated Jason’s (smashpop) Birthday in Times Sqaure last Saturday and yeah it was surely fun, as long as there is a camera, there  is laughter <3. quote Jamie. >=D. so anyway, here’s the birthday boy! with his CURRENT phone. everytime I see him he changes a phone @@”.

and those are.. lollipops. 2X lollipops! lollipops = pOp = SmashpOp. haha, very creative, Joseph. while Sandra, Gary (I think) and another guy gave him ANG PAO omg. I kind of wish I get ang pao’s on my birthday because I can buy anything I want although it is a little less thoughtful. =X. Continue reading “JasonpOp =P.”

[China: Fujian] Tulou of Yong Ding

everybody should at least know the existence of this place. although not as “prideful” as the great wall of China, but it is already now under the world heritage record. MANY MANY many years ago.. the hakka people from.. somewhere near Guang Zhou? was being chased due to some racial thingy. so, they ran and ran and ran, and set foot in Yong Ding. and mind you, even by car it takes more than 8 hours. so how far you think they ran?

there are around 20,000 tulous around but mostly abandoned or ripped off already. it is a very very very big “house” for a huge family. sometimes the tulou is so big that some people don’t know each other in the house. most big tulous have approximately 80 families, a family a room, and on the ground floor, it’s usually for the kitchen, cages and so on. you don’t want to know about the toilet.

okay so lets begin with my pictures.

Halloween Party @ Borneo Baruk Club

by Nuffnang. and Nokia <3.

I betrayed Nokia. because my (half. don’t ask me why) new phone is an Anycall. =/.

the halloween party is quite of a blast you can say, other that I didn’t like the concept of the silent dance thingy, because when you look at other people dancing with no music/different music, you feel really weird. and the songs weren’t my type of thing either. and it’s rather interesting to see how can somebody transform into a scary monster!

and this is how Jamie Liew went as a “undead japanese girl”. although I really wanted to be an undead korean girl =(. couldn’t find the korean costume! but this one is not bad ain’t it? other than the make up isn’t good enough, I’ve put LAYERS of powder but look like it didn’t work. sigh.. [HK: Wan Chai] Golden Bauhinia

missed me? just be nice and say you do >_>”. that is because I left Malaysia for more than a MONTH. I went to see the Tulou far in YongDing for the past few days, yeah I know you don’t know where that is or what I went to see, google “earth buildings” it’s under the world heritage bla bla bla =D. finally finishing my 5 day Hong Kong trip blog post when I am already in China for more than 20 days. I straightened my hair today, and I look a little more.. flat. but I only had pictures of yesterday. so.. a little update about myself.

I am getting fatter, (I lose weight VERY slowly T_T) and thus my eyes are smaller. my hair is more seaweed(as somebody say so) than they are *until a few hours ago*. and I had to stick medicine up my nose, drink some liquid medicine and have pill medicine because I want to cure my long term flu. end of myself. [HK: Lantau Island] Big Buddha

well I am.  if you are too, I bet this will be a spot you won’t want to miss. even if you are not, this spot is rather interesting anyway. so where to?

ngong ping 360 tickets

uh huh! Ngong Ping 360! the largest Buddha in Hong Kong as I know. it is very famous even among Hong Kongers, they go there quite often. there are three ways to go there, if you want to save money and have a comfortable journey there, you can go by bus. [HK] Trams in HK

you’ll probably think that the MTR is still the best thing, but in the MTR, all you’d see is ADVERTISMENTSSS. and as for trams? you’ll get to see more of Hong Kong. since it’s really cheap, just $2 per ride, and OCTOPUS CARDS ARE USABLE! =D. but just one thing, you might be squeezed, so usually I’ll run up to the top deck to find some place to sit and just go to where ever I want to. cabs are everywhere, so there is no problem about getting lost. with $$, nothing’s a problem in HK =P.

hk trams

so here’s the trams! my mom said the trams were there even when she came when she was around my age. so can you imagine HOW OLD it is? not only that, I find trams very convenient as it comes in every.. minute!

and so, the things I saw when I rode the tram. Continue reading “[HK] Trams in HK”

[HK] Hong Kong Dim Sum!

what is Hong Kong without DIM SUM?? nice or not, you still gotta try. I actually prefer the chee cheong fun in Malaysia but as for the other dishes? they are those which you’ll seldom/not find in anywhere other than HK. and there are “directions” for how you should order your dim sum. if you are in a high-class-restaurant-for-rich-people-that-tastes-normal, there would be no problem for a foreigner to order something. BUT, if you are in somewhere where locals pours in, you gotta know how.

firstly, you will be given a piece of printed paper, chinese words or whatever with numbers. THEN, there won’t be a price list around. the waiters or waitresses WILL NOT serve you to the dim sum. YOU got to squeeze yourself to the dim sum auntie and give her your paper and point out at what you want to eat. delicious ones and famous ones are usually waited with many people. and in my opinion, it is always better to go with friends. =D.

[HK] I need to learn how to read!

I’ve always thought that food in any restaurant rock in HK, but it kinda seem like I was wrong, SOMETIMES in the “popular places” their food will be less tasty, especially if there are no advertisements of them in newspapers or whatsoever. and which will be the better place? of course, the one packed with locals. even sometimes its interior is not so great, but the food are……………. super.  and just like how I bumped into this restaurant, it’s in Sai Yee Kai if I’m not mistaken. well, this one is a good example of how to see if it’s good ( usually the ones like these are guarunteed delicious. but there are fakes also I heard ).

food!

super canggih door. hahaha. Continue reading “[HK] I need to learn how to read!”

Selamat Hari Raya!

jamie and afiq

although I seem like a very racist person, which I am quite, but I DO have good friends of other races. I am even racist towards some of my own race, hmm.. I guess I should call myself groupist. hahaha. as in for my dislike for certain groups of people with their own creative “style” of talking and so on. but I can tell you, most malay people are DAMN friendly! they’d totally treat their guests nicely. really! and also, they can really really cook. *winks winks, Fiq! your rendang rocks everybody’s socks!*. and yes, the handsome guy above which looks a little like the angkasawan guy is Afiq, and HIS RENDANG IS SERIOUS SEDAP! (delicious!). and, that’s his grandmother’s house. Continue reading “Selamat Hari Raya!”

Junior Idol Finals @ Sunway Lagoon!

I don’t quite have an idea about what was this Junior Idol about until one day my grandma was watching TVB8 and suddenly I saw my friend in the advertisement, and yes, only the advertisement which encourages people to join. and imo, contests are really a waste of time towards most people, because in Malaysia, MANY MANY MANY of these kiamsiap contests depends on voting. and also, if you don’t get first, you get nothing. isn’t it sad? eg you are a whole lot better, but you didn’t win because you only spent 20k on voting and your “friend” spend 30k on voting for themself. you invested so much money and time and get nothing. but that’s unless you are full of potential, because even if you don’t win, those powerful ones who have been eyeing on you would call you up, give you a job, and tadah! millionaire! =D. and the best thing is, I don’t think that thing thing depend on votes that much. or does it? @@”?

Jamie and Sheena

I like this picture. haha. maybe because my skin looks fairer here. ^^v. goodness, I am darker after this event. pfft. >=(. Continue reading “Junior Idol Finals @ Sunway Lagoon!”
