Hello dear readers, I bet most of you know who Yuna is (she have over 600k fans on facebook!!). but of course, there’s a number who still don’t. but it is alright, you can start knowing her today. before losing hope on Malaysia’s entertainment industry, you’d definitely change your opinion. you must listen to Yuna’s songs.

I first came across her song about 2-3 years ago when I was searching for BossaNova songs and I stumbled across such a great song — Deeper Conversation. I was so blown away by that song I actually googled to see who she is and where she is from. and to my surprise, SHE’S MALAYSIAN! I thought she was an American born Japanese or something at first but her full name is actually Yunalis, and in short, Yuna.

for this press conference, I was lucky enough to be invited by Nuffnang to experience such a great event. Yuna Inspired is actually a project started with ^ the six ladies above, to let fans help Yuna write her new song. all you need to do is just to send in a tweet, a message or anything to YunaInspired (for tweets, #yunainspired) with a sentence of lyrics you can think of. great idea yes? =D. plus, the winner (not sure how they will select, but they said, the BEST lyric line) will win the signed guitar below!

I had never thought that I would have the chance to listen to her LIVE again; the last time Nuffnang had an event and she was invited to perform a few songs and she sounded EVEN MORE AMAZING. it was then, when I realized how under rated she is. I thought to myself, “why is she not a big superstar yet?” and FINALLY, she will now fly to London/New York to produce her new album. but even so, she is as humble as ever.

the Press Conference was held in Spasso Milano and this is ze Italiano Chef! the food was perfecto (especially their soup and dumpling pasta’s omg. the choco moose was great as well) so just check it out-o! =D.

AHHH. I attended ceramics class in the previous sem (and is intending to continue) and I loved it. although it isn’t exactly related to my course, but I find it rather interesting. haven’t you ever wanted to have some peaceful time getting your hands dirty creating something of your own?

and for my final, we were actually required to create a sculpture, where I didn’t want mine to be similar to anybody elses. not in any sense.  so I went ahead and took a pencil and drew the funniest looking thing that everybody thought it is some octopus/jellyfish since I did a jellyfish for my last illustrator assignment.

after 3 long years, I finally got my phone changed!! =D. thank you sis. <3. I shall now be the girl with the biggest phone. the HTC Desire HD is the hugest I’ve seen so far. haha. and this shall last me another 3-4 years! or more than that!

but really, I LOVE IT.

HTC Desire HD vs. iPhone4

everybody have been asking me why not the iPhone4. okay, my answer will be, I think big screens matters a lot for me. and it have great sound quality. the better thing about the iPhone is the great apps (but that isn’t free. haha), the space and the colour. and Pudding Camera isn’t available for Andriod. *dies*. and oh, there is no front camera for the HTC too, though it isn’t very important to me since the front camera quality usually suck.

and the thing I like about the HTC is that it isn’t so bothersome, as in, you don’t have to connect to a certain software to purposely sync songs. also, you get to crop ANY SONG you like from the playlist and make it into a ringtone. very convenient. the camera’s pretty good too ^^.  but most importantly, IT IS LESS COMMON! =D=D=D=D=D.

because I am weird like that.

and for me who have a DSLR and no compact camera,  my phone now functions as the digital camera. =P.

albeit being a person who only loves visiting cities (beaches and rural areas are USUALLY not my cup of tea.) I am always amazed by wood. I love restaurants that installs wood into their concept.

where that Winter Sonata couple first kissed. you should be surprised, because I had never watched Winter Sonata. maybe one or two episodes when I was 8. but I don’t remember it anymore. I just know my sister and mom cried a lot.

you’d find squirrels everywhere. and you might even get to see squirrel fights if you are lucky enough. but they were running around too fast I didn’t get a nice shot. haha.

okay okay, at first yes, I said I wasn’t going but I was lucky enough to get to know that I could go just 7 hours before the concert started! thanks to an old schoolmate of mine! B2st fans are such kind people to the other B2st fans <3.

didn’t bring my DSLR (I don’t bring it out nowadays T_T. it’s just troublesome. sigh.) because the last time I was there for a korean concert, they confiscated stuff like camera batteries/umbrellas. I am not sure about the batteries, but the umbrellas were left all over in a box without anybody guarding it that time. and it is stated that “NO CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED” already T_T.

and guess what? there were a box of free umbrella’s upon exiting this time too. haha. if you’re lucky, you’d get back your umbrella. =D.

there were more of their posters but I thought they are famous enough. now I present to you, G.Na!! her name is pronounced as Gina. she’s awesome but because she’s the least popular as she’s pretty new, most of the people that attended the concert didn’t know who she was T_T. but her FIRST SINGLE consists of a song collaborated with Rain!! now you have a picture of how powerful she is? =D.

and as expected, G.Na started the concert. she was awesome. and cute. very very cute. her vocals were strong and the best thing is, she could really manage the crowd =D. there were many singers (even groups) who performed and I would stand there stupidly like a plank of wood because they were boring me.

but I was a little disappointed she didn’t perform the song the sang with Rain. that was the most popular. and Yoseob from B2st can do Rain’s part well (youtube it!).

when she first debuted, I thought she looked a bit weird. but now, after dyeing her hair to a darker colour and cutting it shorter, she looked so pretty!

I keep hearing the guys behind me saying loudly “OH SHIT THEY ARE SO HOT!!” and more than twice I’ve heard “THE HYUNA PART IS COMING ALREADY!!” and sometimes, “SHIT THEY ARE SINGING THIS SONG!!!” in the most excited way you can imagine.

korean girl groups love emphasizing thighs, I noticed.

and showing legs, in my opinion, is the smartest way of making a girl hot. hahaha.

there were this girl in front of me that looks pissed the whole time before B2st came out. but, when B2st came out. you know how some people are like, the maniacs, when they see Micheal Jackson? like that. she literally scream and shouted their name and WORSHIPED there. she look like as if she saw God and wants to cry. she was swaying left to right and to the left again. it’s mad. I told Natalie and she told me that most Korean fans are like that too. Oh my goodness.

bumped into Yap Thomas and Joshua Ong there =P. they got sick of how obsessed I am (and all the other girls there) with Doo Jun and Dong Woon. *whistles*

this was one of the things I had in my list before going to Korea, TO TRY THOSE MOVING RAW OCTOPUS. and on my last day in Korea, we went to a shop (it’s a 24hours shop!) with live octopus living on the tanks outside for breakfast!

at first, everybody will think it is GROSS. but, it is not disgusting. really. in fact, it tastes great! a very very good snack. a snack because it doesn’t fill you.

if I really have to explain how it taste like, I’d say, have you ever eaten octopus sashimi? well, it is similar. it might look wet and gooey but the truth is, I don’t feel any mucus or whatever slimy stuff. when you pick it up with your chopsticks, it just.. hardens @______@. and somehow, it’s crunchy because it hardened.

and the wriggling feeling and those tentacles sucking your tongue is one of the greatest (and most ticklish) experience. haha! you’d enjoy it. =P.

the yummy dipping sauce. consists of salt and sesame oil. this is the best sauce in my opinion. those chili sauce tastes very much like what you’d find in a yongtaufoo shop here. haha.

had out breakfast in one of the shops in Myeong Dong. forgot it’s name but it seems to be pretty famous with celebrity signatures stuck everywhere. it’s a decent shop. you can find it next to Pacific Hotel (Myeong Dong Exit 3).

one thing about it is the price. it costs 20,000 – 30,000won for a plate. that is about RM60-90. not cheap yeah. especially for something that doesn’t fill you stomach. and also, always CHEW it well before swallowing. every year there would be a few cases of people dying because they choked on Sannakji @@. but it is rare. so yeah, just make sure you chew thoroughly.

our total bill came up to 35,000won. around RM100. pretty pricey for a breakfast for two. we had Pajeon (korean pancake. the ones in this shop was absolutely delicious.) and Sannakji ONLY. haha. the Pajeon costs 15,000won (RM45!! for something made out of flour. and some vege). the most expensive one I’ve ever had. those in Malaysia are around RM25-30 only. T_T. but it really taste very good. and we had a whole table filled with Banchan 반찬 (the small plates of side dishes) there were at least 10 sidelines. madness. but yummy. <3.

my first time actually recording a video. I was really excited about eating it so I kept saying “jajang” (my own way of saying TADA!) some of you might just be annoyed by it. haha. pfft.

PS : it is NOT going to be just a once in a life time thing. it’s really really good. if I were to be in Korea again, I’d definitely look for Sannakji!

PSS : my voice is so weird when it is recorded. is it REALLY like this in real life? no wonder I am weird pfft because my weirdness starts from my voice T_T.

the mood wasn’t that great for this year even though we had a holiday on the 31st. I think it is because I wasn’t directly under the fireworks. but I had one of the greatest views for fireworks. I can see more than 10 spots putting fireworks! but they were so far away pfft. I left my camera at home and had to depend on my sis’s iPhone camera haha. but she hadn’t uploaded any yet. except for this one.

because my finals (or at least, those submission dates are near) are coming, I have no time to sort out my more than 1k pictures taken in Nami. hahah. T_T. I know right, I have to work on my assignments even if it’s new year day pfft. but the truth is, I slacked. kekekeke. hence, I have to work twice as hard now D=.

and I would like to share a little something I found from the last few hours of my Korea trip.

JAJANG!! you Korean drama freaks MUST know him. KIM TAK GU!!  yes yes very famous for bread hehehe. but there were no red bean wheat bread nor any bong bang.

there’s THIS. it was like some milk cream inside. it was so good. SOO GOOD. this was the last one in the airport. pfft. they are best sellers. just make sure you try their bread there. I am not sure about this but I’ve always thought that bread tastes better when you’re at a cold country. hmm.

BANANA MILK! I wonder why it is separated by half. tried to open it but failed. sigh. another treasure from the refrigerators of the marts there.

my nails already chipped on the second day. SIGH.

the Incheon airport. it is voted as one of the cleanest airports in the world! =D.
