since the day before we had Indian Food, we wanted something more traditional, and tada! Yee Sang, a total chinese few courses lunch in a THAI restaurant. ahhahaa, I haven’t been eating in a chinese restaurant yet =P. until now I think it will be only once, in my cousin’s restaurant. hahahah!

went out to the outdoor theme park, friggin’ burn my 44bucks, but it was all worth it hahaha. I’d rather spend some money than to wander around doing nothing like an idiotic person =X.

I was following that tall clown quite a bit but he is always surrounded by people ugh. and when he is not, I was running towards him until that few malay people in front of me suddenly run towards him. and I have to wait. again. so I was giving that “NOOOO” face and this is totally candid haha.

anyway, we were actually hiding in this chocolate garden because it was drizzling outside. after the sky is QUITE clear, we went on some rides, and head towards the dino land because there was some pictures of some reptiles, I thought there were more but there was only a few.

that auntie who wants to earn money by asking people to take picture with her snake keep on chasing me with the snake, and I ran away a lot because snakes just makes me shiver, they are so slimy. T_T. Jordan said he dislike snakes too, but he WANTED to take a picture with it, and I am kind of dragged along. at least I got something to prove that I’ve seen a snake before. oh my but it is really slimy looking. ><”.

manage to sit all the trill rides that I like, corkscrew TWICE! and we ran all the way to Genting Hotel to catch the fireworks. the day before was so packed with people but too bad the fireworks is canceled due to the misty weather (which made me all wet T_T) and the next day, when most people have left, there’s fireworks! rather spectacular. it costs 700 thousand RINGGIT ! good thing for us that it is not packed at all. we had a great view without even having to squeeze into some crowd.

okay you might be thinking how did I manage to sit in all those rides with wearing a mini skirt. I wore shorts, and my scarf is long enough to cover. =D.

so on erm, I don’t actually remember when, I went out with Ronald and his friends to eat japanese food at japan club. but it is closed on that day so we all went to Oh Sushi! instead. I thought that Oh Sushi is some money-eating monster but it turned out quite well. their beef mayo smells great. =D.

I always go with the recommendations as it is er.. sort of to me, their best dish. it was alright. I love the cawan mushi. <3.

this is Ronald. I know people in the weirdest way. even until now I think I still do. I’ve actually heard of him sometime ago, because my sister always tells me about her friends although I don’t really pay attention to their names but at least I remember! then one day this fella called and I picked up to tell him that my sister is bathing, and instead of saying “oh okay then thanks bye”, he talked to me, for quite some time. =P. another metrosexual! he puts on GREY contacts! =P =P.

and this time in one of my favourite restaurants, Han Woo Ri @ Ampang One Avenue/Korean Village. this place really serves one of the best korean food around, but it is kind of nicer before this though.. the bulgogi is good, but not so satisfying. =X. or is it because Peter’s mother is the best in cooking bulgogi. =P. their pork barbeque is damn good by the way. =D!

ps : remember not to eat anything related to white carrot in a korean restaurant. it is really unfavorable to Malaysians in my opinion.

pfft. they don’t like kimchi. HOW CAN THEY! T________________T.

and that is on Sunday @ Genting. we went to any restaurant that serves Chinese food on that day but it was all full! so.. we kind of ditched the tradition and have something special.

INDIAN FOOD!! I’ve always liked indian food. especially those in Bombay Palace. my first time in this restaurant though, Spice Garden, not bad, quite nice but a little priceyy. well you can’t expect the price to be reasonable right? it is GENTING! and their fried cottage cheese is SO GOOD! <3. don’t have a picture of it awww. I thought that it is something weird as it is small and round and dipped in sugary icing.

I watched this movie because.. JAMIE LIEW SUPPORTS DANIEL TAN! =D. in the movie he is said to be only 5″8 I think, but in reality he is 6″0 plus alright! don’t be fooled people!

after the movie, me and my cousins went back to our hotel room where the room is fully occupied. and I can’t really manage to sleep on floor because it is too hard, and my body gets aches very easily. =((. since my bed is occupied by my aunties and uncles (they weren’t planing to overnight but the fog is getting worst and they are really tired), and I am still not very sleepy, and I bumped into a friend earlier, I just went out for a yumcha session with him. =D. Old Town is open for 24hours!

Jordan, the famous gamer =D. known to be the best in most of the games he played in but none of us are gamers now. =X.

for the o2jammers who knows me, and him, they’ll be surprised ahahhahahahahaha.

I actually saw him for the second time as he was quite far away from me the first time I saw him. I’ve never talked to him face to face before eventhough we met in a few events like.. 4 years ago? was hit by a spasm of ambarassment when he looked blankly into my face when I called his name. but at last after 5seconds (I exaggerated, it’s 3. =X) he pointed at me and said “Jamie.”

why do we look so… panda-ish? because the picture was taken at 5am in the morning! and I am only up till his nose, he gotta bend down to take pictures with me! damn. =/.

I don’t even come here usually, this is like the first time that I actually SHOPPED seriously. before this is all friends hang out or events. I used to just walk around for a bit. just a vague stroll not even bothered to go into a shop. but now that Sunway Pyramid 2 is opened, I think Sunway rocks. =P. other than their shops are usually to serve for the middle to upper class, it is really a nice place to shop.

I noticed that there are many shops which are selling the things I saw/bought in China! some of it which I bought for only RM5 are selling for RM40 there! of course, including tax and shipping fee’s bla bla bla. =P.

sms-ed Simon So a few days before I was there to meet up with him because sometime before he said ” when you are in Sunway just gimme a call! ” and so I did, just a little earlier.

he stated that I live in a jungle that is why it is difficult to meet me. >=(. it is better to live in some place that is surrounded by mountains than forests of houses righttt? =P.

Hmm, so what did he do with a 16year old kid like me?

we went shopping and then we had DINNER! I am sick of chinese food because I had it for 2 months berturut-turut (continuously) in China and trust me, the chinese food here is no match with the one’s in China, so why still have it here so often right? I just miss the asam fish, siu yuk, and chicken rice! since I am back I had chicken rice from an actual chicken rice shop for more than 5 times (only back for 3 weeks!) and had chicken at home at least 3 times in a week.

so after our long stroll around the mall we headed to Italianies <3 <3 just because I miss Italian food so bloody much. thanks Simon! =P. didn’t even know Italianies existed in Sunway, hahaa. it is actually my first time there despite how many times I walked pass the Italianies shop in 1U and The Curve. always wanted to try it, and the location of Italianies in Sunway is so complicated! there weren’t any direct doors from the mall to Italianese and we went in from the outside and later found out that there is a little door on the back of TGIF that is actually connected to it.

my seafood something something. it is rice! oatish rich. nice but very filling. I thought I was going to puke if I finished it. seriously you need somebody to share your meal with if you’re there.

AND MY HOT CHOCO! I order hot choco everywhere I go mainly because I am quite allergic to coffee and tea; thus I dislike carbonated drinks too. ahh I feel like a health freak =P.

I kind of didn’t really eat when I was there in the afternoon, it just so happen to be that my friends were there and I wanted to see them as they were also going to Edu Fair.

UGH. Edu Fair do me no good. I still couldn’t decide what I want to be. =((. I need a bigger Edu Fair. but there is this Hong Kong Chinese University that caught my attention; it is just that I need to take my A levels here. and the courses provided there aren’t THAT much of a choice, most of them not my choice. I really want to live in Hong Kong for a while really <3. and the other college that caught my eye would be The One Academy. I know in that field it is really difficult to make good money, but I just love arts. =/.

this guy here is one year my senior in school. I kind of miss the days when there are many seniors in school. I really start to feel old. =((. form 5 is just killing me. I’ve got two main reasons to travel all the way to KLCC. first, I want to go to the Education Fair in the KL Convention Centre and second, Yee Hou owe me dinner. he owe me because I made him the prettiest header ever! *coughs, maybe not the prettiest but I put in quite some effort* =D.

this is how I annoy people. and YES it KIND OF succeeded to annoy him because after many camwhoring pictures he started to get bored of it and say ” I am hungry lets go eat ” and started to show his unwonderful looking (he don’t use hand cream!actually I don’t, not sure about him ahhahahahaha.) palm to my camera. =P.

and so we had dinner in Chilis. he always said how delicious the Monterey Chicken is, and as a person with luck for food (it is said that if you have a mole near your lips you have luck for food), I certainly can’t miss out anything delicious right? =P.

Yee Hou had steak! a steak with loads of fats =O. well the waiter must have observed how skinny he is. =P.

I don’t know la! way of speaking and then suddenly he said something like “you both very alike, you both have the same face” both of us were scratching our head trying to understand but we just said “no no no no no” but I think I can conclude that he think we are siblings. Monterey Chicken. you’ll love it. =D. Chilis have the BEST mashed potato in the whole wide world! I used to come here for salads only, I love their Caesar Salad <3. just so yummy.

one of the best thing in Chilis is that they serve bottomless drinks! there are quite a wide choice but trust me, tomato is always the best choice. and it is also because their tomato juice is damn high quality one. =P.

when I just came back from school the other day, my mom said, “GET CHANGED, WE ARE GOING TO SUNWAY PYRAMID!” and I barely even have time to comb my hair. and what’s worst is that she told me when my hair got damp. I simply slip into a dress and rushed everything. and she brought me to some tower and I waited for her for like ages, and by the time we reached Sunway Pyramid, we feel like going home. well actually we rushed away to fetch my aunt back. and since her place is right next to Mines, we went there to have dinner there, and suddenly… we planned to go down town.

it is so easy to make a skinny person look fat. see? take from below. and because I am already fat, I will look even fatter. and I shall not let anybody catch a glimpse of my face in this picture. =D. photoshop cropping? easy peasy.

everybody should at least know the existence of this place. although not as “prideful” as the great wall of China, but it is already now under the world heritage record. MANY MANY many years ago.. the hakka people from.. somewhere near Guang Zhou? was being chased due to some racial thingy. so, they ran and ran and ran, and set foot in Yong Ding. and mind you, even by car it takes more than 8 hours. so how far you think they ran?

there are around 20,000 tulous around but mostly abandoned or ripped off already. it is a very very very big “house” for a huge family. sometimes the tulou is so big that some people don’t know each other in the house. most big tulous have approximately 80 families, a family a room, and on the ground floor, it’s usually for the kitchen, cages and so on. you don’t want to know about the toilet.

okay so lets begin with my pictures.

Jamie Liew overnighted in a place filled with dried up grass, road of sands and soil, and everywhere stray dogs, cows, ducks, goats and SANDFLIES. it was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at, and the bathroom is DOWNSTAIRS. imagine you have to wear your pjs early in the morning to the bathroom downstairs at around 6degrees? AND, there is no mirror. but Jamie managed to survive. thank goodness.

houses there are 80% like these. they are called, the earth houses. they say it’s built with earth. aka MUD. hardened mud mixed with some sort of stuff. and the floor on the upper floors really makes you feel like you make a hole on the wooden floor. seriously.

with no mirror, I managed to look like this lah. and NEVER wear boots my god. I thought the road wouldn’t be all rock. had a hard time, even climbing up there.  I got up step by step, holding on to my sisters jacket. I actually went to Yong Ding 3 years ago(now 4) and I was so cheated. that tulou I went to is a SINGLE tulou, totally meant for tourist as they have bitumen layed on the roads and all. and trust me, it isn’t so pretty after all. I forgetten the name of that village but just don’t go to any single tulou. especially if you see loads of tourists with buggys around. go to…

Chuxi Tulou! they are the most beautiful ones as I have heard. and see that white tulou there? it’s a hotel, better than the one I stayed in, much better to be precise. and, they have really cute door gifts! if only we didn’t arrive so late, we could’ve went in to explore and find this hotel.

the view from a lower place. they are built in such a unique way; big “house” and small windows is because they want to prevent the.. er.. mountain thieves? from attacking them. I just cannot imagine, in such a kampung sankala place (remote area =D), there are thieves.

and you’d maybe once in a while find uncles drawing up there, and they draw really well too. I just can’t stand the sun there, and he’s sitting right under it for hour-r-r-r-r-rs.!

really beautiful, it always reminds me of Chinese New Year. and a great spot for photographers. really really nice. and yeah, the dark side on the left, is the toilet, toilet without tissue papers or a sink. just a bucket. yes, you do your business in that bucket, and the next person who goes in will see the business you did. imagine when the bucket’s dealt with 10 big business. ewwwww.

there is around two roads, one’s the main road, and the “shortcut” which is still kind of far for me is this, where I am really scared. you know, those are rocks, and mines heels!

okay, so to let you know, this picture is not edited, other than that watermark. the exposure and all are natural! taking pictures there is just so great especially to camwhorers. when the sun’s great, your 5k lightings is still no match to it. =3.

but inside, maybe a 2k lighting will help a little ><. I am so so damn jealous. everybody’s got flashlight pfft. nevermind, sun’s the best T___T.

well, there are actually many kinds of tulou, square, hexagonal, round, rectangle, u-shaped… for the ones I saw, they are mostly circular. and I really like this one. <3. and oh yeah, this one is actually not considered as VERY BIG. It’s actually a museum. better than the cheat money one, all shops, and you cannot go upstairs to take pictures. it looks incredible especially with fish eyes. =D.
