if you’re an avid Running Man follower you’d probably know this huge-ass Jjimjilbang/sauna in Yongin. it is no doubt super duper far but it is also super duper big and awesome. it is called the 건강나라 Geongang Nara.
my army friend. =D. and us in the most.. unflattering clothes.
we had old kimchi stew and cold noodles! mmmm. it wasn’t like superb but it was good. at least on a hot day like that.
it look super foreign inside really. super pretttty =D.
some sauna room. there are various types. but as for this one, they didn’t have the ice room =S. I would say that facilities in Busan’s Spaland is still better as they provide soap and scrub towels and all but here you gotta buy everything yourself =S. and it’s about the same price haha
it looks like some bloody oven wth. but it is actually the hottest sauna room. incredulously hot. I can feel the heat even from outside.
the pretty hall to the dining area! you can buy snacks and drinks and even patbingsu at the rest area but the normal thing to eat in a jjimjilbang will always be eggs and sikhye (rice drink).
the rest area!
what’s going to a jjimjilbang without doing the 양머리 goat’s head towel!
because I am silly like that.
want an iPhone so bad now. perfect camwhore tool!
and then back to Seoul =(. but we headed to Suwon first and it took like an hour =_____=. oh goodness.
You are definitely look so korean now! ^_^
just look at your 냉면, suddenly am craving for 막국수. eh? lol.
[ok. continue reading ur post]
Ah the second last pic! Looks very Korean!!
Goat’s head towel! I was totally fascinated by it first time I saw it. Also with the whole cracking the egg on your forehead thing, what’s up with that? Haha. First time commenting here, but I’ve been reading your blog for a few months now as “research” for my upcoming Korea trip! Very informative because it’s super detailed and from a Malaysian’s POV 🙂 Can I just ask – I’m heading to Seoul next week, what’s the weather like so far? I’ve been checking weather forecasts and most of them say it’s in the high 20s during the day and 16-17 at night. It sounds both hot and cold, not entirely sure how to pack 🙁 What do you think? Thanks in advance! 🙂
