yesterday itself, I went to CWZJ to tryout some new arrived crabs =D. you know, this is really the first time eating so much crab, my max before this was eating 2 harry crab but then, they were small. these are REALLY HUGE. you’ll get what I mean later. =X.
Pu’er tea. my cousin told me that these will make me skinnier and yes, I really think it will, still not sure about the truth ahahah! the ones outside isn’t nice! usually they will give you the freshly made low quality ones, whereas pu’er tea must be enjoyed slowly and the older the tea, the better. also not to forget that there’s a certain technique to make it.
the idea of soaking tea in the teapot for as long as you want in many restaurants are horrible! you can NOT compare it with enjoying tea here the traditional way <3.
haiks! the main topic today, CRABS. YUMM. this very very red crab is the indo mud crab!
and it is photogenic. no, I can not possibly be jealous of a crab!
this crab is really really huge. but if you ask me if I can finish it, I would say… no problem. *winks*. the taste is a little bit salty in the flesh and don’t worry it is really fresh, good texture. <3.
THIS ONE! is the same type of crab living in India. I know right why are the Indian crabs fairer than the Indo ones. =O. ok, it’s a bit softer than the other one; sweeter. I am not really sure about how good crabs are but I really like it. =D. especially with their special home made dipping thai sauce. YUM. I ate the most as my grandma can’t really eat much (shell food D=).

THIS IS THE BESTEST. no they are not humping, they are both females!
VIRGIN Mud Crab! why is it called a virgin? don’t ask me, (ask the people there =D) but I’ve never had female crabs that have such sweet and soft crab paste(?). in cantonese, Hai Kou. whatever it is called T_T. anyway, it have the finest texture (among those I’ve ate; I least like alaska crab actually, though it is not bad too, depends on the person who is eating it ^^), very fragrant, and best of all, it have the perfect combination of sweet and salty taste.
after you eat the Crabs here, crabs from the other restaurants might as well taste like crap. other than Fatty Crab; I really like it there =X. or you can say, that is the only other place I enjoy crab other than in CWZJ. =D!
and the vinegar from china! for crabs heee. =D. it is said to kill bacteria and all. healthy and tasty mm.
and there’s a tasty crab with mee also! I kind of prefer having it steamed though. =D. more tender. well, as for the mee, it is hmm, somewhat as addictive as MaMee. if you know how mamee tastes like =3.

the sauces, homemade thai on the top, vinegar on the bottom. it is BLOODY GOOD. I personally favour the thai sauce. you know, females love sour and spicy stuff >=). yes I am a little chilli padi. haha.
the crab tools! ask for assistance if you don’t know how to use them =D.
or well, you can get them to do it for you, too.
and OF COURSE I KNOW HOW TO USE THEM! =X. she insisted! =P. I cracked some of them myself too okay! hahaha.
*points* there! see it?! the crab paste(?) of the female virgin mud crab! imagining it makes me drool. but also, for you paste(?) lovers out there, YOU MUST TRY THE HARRY CRAB EVERY END OF THE YEAR!
the chicken with herbal sauce <3. it’s very soft, and it is the first time I actually ate chicken with the skin on without feeling like I would gain a few kilograms, maybe because of it’s herbal taste and the thin skin. I like chickens like these, I am a weird girl, I love herbal stuff a lot. more like a kind of craving. =D. I love Guai Lin Kou, Leong Char, Wong Lou Kat(the so called very bitter herbal tea).. I only dislike bitter gourd (A LOT, more like hate). I think? =P.
and the daisy dose of vitamins =D.
