so an oppa I knew told me, there’s this Korean restaurant in Soho KL that serves food even better than most restaurants you can find in Seoul.

he wasn’t even kidding.

the owner of the restaurant is actually an award winning chef in Korea. and his Banchan? fabulous. the sausage banchan served here is amazing. and the cockles tooooo nyam nyam.

we ordered samgyupsal and hanjeongsal (forgot which part but very fatty and yummy!). I love wrapping my meat in gim. but you can just put it in your mouth like that. awesome kimchi jjigae as well. but the Kimchi was very different. maybe because the chef is from the country, his banchans tastes a little different but yummy. and he uses cabbage to rub off the burnt parts on the pan.

because I enjoyed the food so well he treated us to some fine rib eye. forgot to take a picture of it but it was… very close to Korean beef. as good as it can get in Malaysia. I was actually very shocked of how awesome the pork tasted. normally pork served in Korean restaurants in Malaysia.. is far away from how it’ll taste like in Korea. but their pork is so far the best I’ve tasted amongst all Korean restaurants I’ve been to.

tada! love the Hanjeongsal a lottttt!

and of course, my favourite makgeolli. funny how it’s branded Daebak. but the tastes’ pretty daebak as well!

Hi Jamies, just to share a korean restaurant I went with my family last weekend in Mount Kiara, the Palsaik Samgyupaland. We was pleasantly surprised by the good food and service there. There is 8 type of meats which well-marinated and fresh; the hot seafood soup was equally delectable.
The price was reasonable, the total cost being around RM140 for 4 people and a few beers.
Overall this is a good restaurant and a fun way to have dinner and experience Korean food, I would recommend.
