Nami Island during Summer!

so like how I’ve blogged about previously, just take the Subway to Gangbyeon and walk across to Dong-Seoul Bus Terminal and ask for a ticket to Gapyeong. Ga-Pyeong.

the bus heads to Chuncheon so make sure you know where to get off. if I am not wrong you get out on the 2nd stop. it takes around an hour and a half. Continue reading “Nami Island during Summer!”

[Seoul] Hangang and Seonyudo Park

I was dreadddddding to go to Hanging for the longest time. so finally I went. Hangang is very very very long so this part is one of the most famous spots to go to; Seonyudo. it’s like a really tiny island near Nami Island with a beautiful park in it. I mean, the whole island is a park.

you can basically finish the whole hour in within an hour if you keep walking and walking. or less. not sure haha. but it ain’t big I can assure you. Continue reading “[Seoul] Hangang and Seonyudo Park”

[Seoul: Sinchon] Just bars in Sinchon

if you know me well then you should know that I am not so much of an alcoholic. but after coming to Korea I kind of got used to their Soju and Beer culture where you HAVE TO DRINK. and at the top of all Korean Alcohol, I love Makgeolli. and we drink it with Cider (very similar to 7 Up, can’t really tell the difference anyway). but there are times where you don’t want to go for the usual Makgeolli, Soju or Beer, but some good old drinks you often drink back at your own country.

there are plenty of bars, and mostly very unique and cute. and this one we went to is near the Ikan Bakar in Sinchon on the 2nd floor. you would notice the sweet red window. Continue reading “[Seoul: Sinchon] Just bars in Sinchon”

[Seoul: Gwanghwamun] Cheonggyecheon Stream at Night

when I blogged about Cheonggyecheon (could be found on my Travel page), I was told that this place is exceptionally beautiful at night too. and I have to say, it really is. I was lucky to be here right on the lantern festival too! there are many festivals in a year and Cheonggyecheon will always be prettily decorated on those special occasions =D. I guess you could check out the KTO website for the list of events. =D.

forgot to mention, the Gwanghwamun Square is like right next to Cheonggyecheon =D. Continue reading “[Seoul: Gwanghwamun] Cheonggyecheon Stream at Night”

[Seoul: Gwanghwamun] King Sejong’s Museum

love how Korea preserve their nature eventhough it’s slowly turning into a concrete jungle. on the picture above, a construction is going on on the right. and can you see trees camouflaging into the forest background? =D. pretty awesome if you’d ask me.
