I have never been to an orientation day before. I went into my coll late the last time too so I had never experienced any sort of orientation.

but……

I think I expected too much.

I’ve always thought that at orientations they will bring you around the whole school and perhaps have some ice breaking sessions hahahah. okay, I guess I’ve really thought too much. and, I didn’t get to make as much friends and I thought I would PFFFFFFFFT. made another friend from Dominican who’s half Korean!

the auditorium was so filled, some people couldn’t even come in! but later they divided everyone according to the languages we speak and fuh. like 70% was gone. around 40% of the students here are Japanese and around 30% of them are from China!

anyway, at the orientation they gave us a handout and also explained about the rules (yes, in all 3 languages) and then we also had a Police official to come explain about the security in Korea.

but apparently………. there are a lot of stalkers (and flashers) around so it’s very dangerous walking alone at night especially at the more silent alleys. which totally scared me because I live pretty inside and when I come back I usually walk home alone. OKAY I AM SCARED. =S.

right, I GOT INTO LEVEL 3!!! that’s my Chinese name you’re looking at. a very traditional name yes. =S. as you can see, there are like 6 Japanese people in my class, 1 Viet, 3 Chinese and 2 unknown hahaha. was a little disappointed because I was expecting to have a Gyopo in my class. le sigh. but whatever it is, I planned to study to about level 5 so now I can save more money kaching kaching!

but my class have the most Japanese people I think D=. compared.

on my way to my University. contemplating if I should record a video of the pathway to that very beautiful building in my Uni. maybe when it’s spring and there are more greens I will =D. also, upon your request.

IMG_7207 copy

I seriously can’t wait till it’s greener. most of the trees are still bald right now =S.

meet Margaretti! she’s a gyopo from Brazil ^^. pretty isn’t she? she’s very very nice as well! so far in Yonsei she’s my closest friend you can say out of my 2 days being here. hehe. we are pretty alike as well so we can click very well. =D.

the whole building! there are super a lot of classes. mad I tell you. mad. 6 floors worth of classes.

right in front of Yonsei KLI. at this area we can actually sit around and chill. =D. it’s quite a nice place actually especially on lunch break. I’ve heard a lot. and I can’t wait to experience it myself next week!

IMG_7209 copy

there are plenty of restaurants in the KLI but here’s one right in front of the auditorium. heard it sells awesome sundubu jjigae! and those are the people with high positions at the KLI looking over at my camera =X.

IMG_7213 copy

the 3 very expensive books. haha. the textbook, reading book and workbook.

the famous Garfield. you can see him like every single day if you walk around U-Plex at the Sinchon Rotary. the one today ain’t as hyper but on some days you can see it dancing and going around hugging people haha.

by the way, I like that Jjambbong shop so much, I went there again!

IMG_7194 copy

THE MUSSEL JJAMBBONG! there were at least 30 mussels! no kidding. 5,500won. and you need to like eat 10 mussels before you can even dig for the noodles.
