Korea Pass Free Transportation!

if you’re travelling to Korea from now till May then good news for you.

I thought I’d share about this because many of my readers here plan to go to Korea soon.

say, so happen that you’re travelling there soon, just purchase a Korea Pass (at selected places) and you’d get 10%  of up to 50,000won for free! the Korea Pass can be used for dining, shopping, accomodation and transportation! what a steal. to be honest, I only used 20,000won in a week for transportation so with this pass you can travel further.

say, you buy a 100,000won Korea Pass, you’ll get an additional 10,000won. you can get up to 50,000won free! and this is a to foreigner only discount in conjunction with the Visit Korea 2012. so if you’re there. DON’T MISS IT! grab the chance and MAKE FULL USE OF A FOREIGNERS BENEFITS. =D.

click on the link above to download and print the coupon! all you have to do is register under that visitkorea site =D.

and here are a few pictures Calvin Cheah took and (heavily) edited. =). they are in higher quality compared to the post I’ve posted before. ^^.

The overall of this korea pass is to have additional 10% value added to your pass. I think the korea pass is similar to T money. It says you will receive up to additional 50 000won, meaning you have to buy a 500 000won Korea pass to get that extra 50 000won. We won’t get extra 50 000won for free. Can someone clarify for me? Awesome pictures there!

thanks for telling me this too I was so blur pfft. T___T. I think it meant like you can top up to 500,000won and get 50,000won free. doesn’t make sense because 500,000won can last you more than a year! hahaha.

my Korean level is conversational but I can understand quite a bit ^^. degree would require at least a level 3 TOPIK in Korean though =S. and that alone requires about 9 months of Korean languaget studies in Korea. great! April is a good month to visit with all the Sakuras around =D.

    Hi Jamie,

Is there any link or other way that can help translate a korean site?
Also, any hp software that can translate speken korean or vice versa?

I am abit worry about the language barrier for the coming DIY trip. Will you be contactable from 1st Apr as I will be visiting Seoul and further south for a week :)

    Jamie Liew Reply:

hi twiss! the translators are all unreliable. so the best is maybe you get a korean handbook for some phrases or just copy off what you want to know from the internet. =D. my class will be starting on the 2nd and will only be free on 1pm onwards =).

Is it true that the signs on the busses are not in english?
I plan to go mt sorak 1st & 2nd april so afraid may not get the right bus.

Also, is there any places to eat near Incheon Airport besides the airport itself? Will be staying near the airport after reaching there at night on 31st March.

2-5 april will be staying in sinchon area, looking at your blog, I’m excited to explore the whole area :P

wow! it’ll be cold =P. erm most huger bus terminals have english. but the small small ones some they don’t so… might have to ask around or just take a subway to a bigger terminal since the bus to get there should be at a bigger terminal anyway! =D.

    Thank you for your info.

May I ask if this Korea Pass commonly used in Seoul? I mean, can I use it for dining/shopping?

I am just afraid I can use-up 80% of the value for refund

    Please advise

    Thanks again….!
