I’m a Korean Addict.

people told me stuff like you’d get disappointed for hoping so much. and there are no hot guys or girls on the streets of Korea.

THAT IS NOT TRUE FOR ME!

because Korea is MORE than what I imagine it to be. it is so much better.

I’ll explain why I love Korea bit by bit after filtering my 4k pictures =P. but sadly, I cannot advise you to visit Korea right now as there might be a war and it might get a little dangerous. (my friend’s friend flew back to Malaysia early because of the news =S. and I was half quarter hoping I can get trapped in Korea wth!) BUT just so you know, when I was in Korea, the news were only watched by all the Koreans for one day and the next day it seemed like nothing happened.

as you all might already know, going to Korea is more affordable than ever with AirAsia!

when I was coming back from Korea they had this VERY OMGWTHBBQ HOT KOREAN GUY as an air steward. and when I was going there, there Korean girl air stewardess is also VERY OMGWTHBBQ HOT. but sadly, there is only one Korean in every flight.

it was sunset. there was no sun, but this beautiful view.

do note that a 6hours and 30minutes flight makes your skin super dry. so please do not wear contacts and put the thickest layer of hydrating moisturizer and lipbalm. in my case, I used Clinique’s moisture surge and Vaseline lip balm everyday in Korea. BOTH was VERY GOOD. because my mom’s skin was all peeling in Korea and mine was fine! =D. but it wears off after half a day so always put them in your purse. as for the lip balm, you might want to reapply it after every strong wind. haha.

just joking. maybe every two hours if there is wind.

note : you won’t be able to live without lip balm there.

upon arrival, I was greeted with many advertisements like “welcome to Seoul”, “come to 7 luck casino!” and this.

you get what it mean. right?

and one thing which adds 10points to why you should love Korea is the TOILETS!

IMG_9075

did you know, Korea’s airport is said to be one of the cleanest in the world?

now you know.

but the thing is, it doesn’t apply just for the AIRPORT. the toilets are clean almost EVERYWHERE. the worst I went to was when I was in this run down building (bus station) where they have no tissue paper, but it’s not dirty either. and believe me, after spending a week there, you’d HATE Malaysia’s toilet.

my mom went to the toilet as soon as she came out from the plane and she said “Malaysia’s toilets are a big disgrace.” couldn’t be helped since some most people doesn’t use the bidet properly. we should have “Toilet Education” in school rather than Moral. it’s true.

by the way, you can sit on almost every toilet bowl in Korea! =D.

IMG_9092

guess what are those!

those are…

cigarettes. a crazy amount of it.

and this will probably minus some points on Korea hahaha. if you hate smokers, you’d have to just accept the fact that MOST Koreans smoke. be it a teenager, an elder, male, female; they ALL do! in fact, all my Korean friends do. and all I can say is, I’ve gotten used to it.

IMG_9091

always take the bus if you have a lot of luggage. it costs 10,000 won (almost RM30). it’s a good deal. trust me.

and that is Peter whom I have known since I was still in primary; when I was slamming on my keyboard playing a game called the O2JAM. it’s a Korean game. =D!

you might’ve noticed a change in my clothes. I wore long johns in my pants and my shirt + another layer of shirt. but sadly, it was very hot that day I came, but it was pretty cold later on. long johns are very important. =D.

IMG_9110

on the way to Seoul from Incheon Airport. it took about 40minutes. just keep your eyes open. Korean bridges are just so pretty. Penang bridge was Korean made alright?

IMG_9113

this shop is called the KimBap King or Kingdom or something. I forgot U_U. but the Kim Bap’s there are amazing. they have many branches all over Korea =D. so no worries about the location!

IMG_9114

TADA!!! my first Korean meal! prices are ranged from about 2.5k won to 4k won for an average meal there.

IMG_9115

why is it called the Kim Bap King/ Kingdom? well, THERE ARE A HUGE VARIETY OF KIM BAPS. eating kim bap in house starts from 2.5k and if you take away, it only cost 1.5k. at first I did not understand why because taking away in Malaysia is NEVER CHEAPER. and now that I come to think of it. they don’t serve Bachan if you take away.

IMG_9119

these are the Bachan. refill as much as you want. =D.

IMG_9120

the two friendly girls we met. they’re from the Philippines!

IMG_9125

the spiciest Kimchi Jjigae I’ve ever had! but it’s SOOOOOOOO GOODDDD.

IMG_9117 copy

that is the Bibimbap and the Kimbap. just in case if you were wondering, Bap (밥) is rice. and Koreans love rice.

I guess this is all for the day one! I reached at night so there weren’t much. heh. I will update according to places though. this shop’s in Myeong Dong. walk straight from Exit 3. and it’s the cheapest.

and next I’ll show you more of…

IMG_91402

AUTUMN! <3.

Directions to the Bus Station : always check online on where you need to stop. the Bus Station is directly outside the airport upon exit. there’s a booth on the left side of the airport. it’s outdoors. =).
