one thing you should always prepare before going to Phuket is to look up for their hotels. for approximately RM200, your hotel could be very beautiful already. and for a spectacular one, RM400 should be able to wrap everything up. but if you’re on a budget and is looking for some place clean, comfortable, cheap and convenient (the 4C’s!), I’ll recommend you White Sands Hotel. it’s a 3 star. main entrance and the lobby looks a little dodgy and the lifts ridiculously slow. BUT, I must say the rooms are really comfortable. =D. and it is just for RM100. do note that booking IN the airport is much cheaper. but you’ll have to pay on the spot of course =D.

bargain if it’s over 100. =P. yes, buying travel packages and hotels in the airport COULD be bargained. =)).

located in between THREE massage parlors, you can enjoy good thai massage for only RM20 an hour! White Sands is walking distance from the famous Bangla Street =D!  just remember to bargain. I personally like the yellow uniform one.

and thai people do love origami. =X.

not only the tissue in the room, even the one in the toilet is folded in fan shape!

I want a bar like that. pfft.

and so we walked and walked and walked until we reach this shopping mall with a HUGEEE Junk. and had a posh thai meal in a posh thai restaurant =D.

even the rice damn posh.

what shocked me was, there is no kerabu chicken leg in Thailand! I didn’t know it’s a Malaysian Thai dish =X. everything was superb. there was this green curry chicken too but I kind of forgot to take a picture. that was damn delicious. I just didn’t like the egg. =D.

I didn’t really like the desserts. in fact, I had thai desserts in so many places before but I had still never liked them.

along Bangla street towards the end of the street (or the middle? a little further.) there’s an alley filled with small little hawker and you’d see this AWESOME POSSUM PORK RIBS STALL.

the first day we bought 1 only because everybody told us not to get any food anymore as the dinner made them explode. but as you know, I am a very… hungry person. and since I won’t be in Phuket for a long time, JUST WHACK LAHH. William was attracted to the juicy looking ribs too so we decided to share on one rib.

but unfortunately, when we brought it back to the hotel, EVERYBODY LIKED IT! so much for being “very full” hmph. and I only had.. 3-4 pieces. T_T.

so the next day, smart already, buy a lot =D. but I kind of regret I didn’t get more hmph. they are THAT good.

I never liked plain sausages (but it’s weird, I love hot dogs =D. and Taiwan sausages! and the Swedish one. pfft.) so I didn’t buy this one. =X.

but the lala (on the right) DID attract my attention. they were SO FRAGRANT. I am pretty allergic to seafood by the way =((. but I buy it still hehehe. it turned out to be really good, and spicy. T___________T. can I go back to Phuket nao? to be honest I did’t fancy the sea that much. thai food is just too good.

OCTOPUSSSS. GRHH, I really hope I could eat seafood hmph (red dots will form all over me if I eat a lot of seafood T_T. must control! but I never really bothered if it is fatty crab =D!)

what makes their cempedak and banana goreng nicer should be the seseme seeds. SUPER FRAGRANT. and I love those cempedak seeds. they are so delish! only dumb people eat the cempedak and throw the seed away! I mean, FRIED cempedak lah. =D.

according to wikipedia, cempedak/chempedak is related to jackfruit but it ISN’T jackfruit. it is also related to durian =O. it smell nothing like durian though. learned something new today? heh.

no, there are no bangla’s boxing inside, only thais and sometimes some ang moh =D. I am still wondering why Bangla street is called Bangla.

rant 1, MY CAMERA DIED! HOW CANNN. T______T. I sent it to the service center before. it died before. but that is once since end of 2007. I think it was last year. pfft. wait, I am SURE it was last year. and my lens is new. only 1 year old!

rant 2, my kind cow friend lent me his canggih camera so that I can finish my assignments. but, his lens can only focus one point. I think it is spoilt, too. but lucky his got warranty =D. MINE DON’T! T_T.

rant 3, those groups on facebook is very bothersome. stop sending messages via groups. it lags my computer!!

rant 4, my exams are coming and I haven’t watched my dramas in ages.

rant 6, why am I not overcoming any of my stage fright?

rant 7, I felt my CGPA will drop this sem and I won’t get scholarship for next year. because you’d have to be among the 10% to get it (I think, not sure if it works for my department too). there’s about10 people in my class. and there is a super smart and talented guy in my class. pfft.

rant 8, my jellyfish looks fake after it is printed out.

rant 9, I think I gained weight. I am quite sure.

(they are the same pair of heels I wore in Ana Consultantcy’s meeting. the peep-toe.) they make me look uber tall and I love it. =D. just so if you were wondering, after I wear those heels, I’m 178cm. provided if I stand straight lah! I actually measured out of curiousity! =P.

MC40 and Harry were both very chatty. I told them my mandarin isn’t good and we talked loads on that. MC40 asked me to tell him something in mandarin and I said “ni men hen bang!” and he looked so amazed hahaha! told him that I learn chinese only this year. last sem to be exact. he commented “ni de hua yu hen biao jun eh!” both very nice guys. Chung Hwa was shy kekeke. I was chatting away until the guy that manages this thing yelled for next =X. *faints* super happy. Harry spoke more in english, very good english. in fact, Harry is now my next dream guy kekekekeke. <3

PS : MC40 thinks that he is fat. omg. haha he is so funny because I showed them this 3 year old pic of him for him to sign and he was like “oh who is this? attended the Glitterati Plus meeting last Saturday in Taylors Lakeside campus.

if you are wondering what is that, it is a new club for glitterati bloggers of Nuffnang =D.

I’ve only seen pictures of the place. and it is more awesome than these pictures. the campus is BIG, modern and pretty! there are Starbucks and even Famous Amos T_T. I used to laugh at my friends from the old Taylors building for having to eat those tasteless and pricey food in their Uni while mine were still bearable. but now, I am very very jealous pfft.

we had our meeting in Hall 12, it was a very nice hall T_T. well of course one of the reasons is because it was new, but it is really cool. very good sound system and all. most importantly, it’s huge. imagine, this is ALREADY HALL 12. can you imagine how big the biggest hall would be?

too bad I missed the campus tour, it was my grandmother’s birthday on the same day wuwuwuwuwu.

anyways, back to GPlus!

not EVERYBODY can join, but you can try to fulfill the requirements. =D. firstly, of course, you’ll need to be a glitterati blogger of Nuffnang. and after that, you must fit in either two of the three criterias :

1. Actively Blogging, at least 5 posts per month. (TICK!)
2. Events Participations, at least 30% and ONLY participate in Nuffnang events. this is Timothy Tiah, he is the boss of Nuffnang Malaysia. I don’t know how old is he but he do look very young to me! and is very nice, as stated on the last post. hahaa. humble would be the right word if I could only use one word to describe him. =D.

Serge/Lionel/Dustyhawk was POSING there. looks natural ey. he is a part of the GPlus Organization so if there’s anything, ask him! =P.

Nicholas Chay, he works for Nuffnang and we met because we wore the same patrick dog slippers at the Pajama Party. his surname is very cute. but actually, his is the same with Jay Chou’s Chou. =P. that means they share the  same great great great great great grandpa. or something. =X. see! they have similar small eyes! *coughs*.

but if he had longer hair I think he would ACTUALLY LOOK like Jay Chou. =X. someone buy him a wig now, and we shall see.

since I left early, I didn’t have much time to camwhore with the other bloggers T_T. very sad thing. I am just not in this camwhore mood nowadays as I’m still suffering *chokes* from being tan. yes, being tan is a type of err suffer. and due to my 2 weeks worth of sleepless nights, I lost the last bit of glow I had even with such xanthous skin.

and the JYJ concert!

most of you Malaysians pfft yes only Malaysians do not know who JYJ is. but you guys know who TVXQ is. I don’t think it is actually disbanded but because 3 of the members decided to sue SM Entertainment for overloading them too much with work, the three of them now formed a new group called the JYJ which stands for Junsu Yuchun Jae Joong.

sigh, my favourite two from DBSK was actually Max followed by Yunho. but I went because I love Xiah/Junsu as well.

I actually won this ticket online =D. I won the free seating but they gave me the rock zone tickets. WHEE!

can you imagine, even without the other two, the whole stadium negara is packed with fans. tickets for the lower deck (both free seating and standing), rock zone and VIP seats were SOLD OLD. it’s mad. because the rock zone was already RM303. cheapest tickets were the top deck,  about RM100. lower deck is at least RM200.

their performance was great. not fabulous though. Beast was fabulous. pfft. they only sang FIVE SONGS. LIMA LAGU. WU GE GE. MM SAU KOH. I’ve waited for two hours to hear them for an hour (supposedly two). it was LESSER than an hour to be exact. TOO SHORT.

now let’s talk about what sucks. those who went in through the front gate (the tickets cheaper than 300 pfft) went in safe and sound. all dry and happy. yet THE ONES queuing for the rock zone and some numbered seatings too, were DRENCHED IN RAIN. they were so keen on checking everybody’s bags (for the camera, but I still sneaked mine in anyway, everybody did.) until it rained so heavily I stood under the rain for at least 10 minutes. and it was some real heavy rain. we had no other place to run because we were literally sandwiched between all the other excited fans. ()@&$#)@#*)_@#_@ this is the worst concert-like thing I’ve ever been to, I had fever the next day.

and that sweet girl on the picture on top is a girl I met there =D. she’s very sweet, her name’s Kar Mun, only 16! I was so glad I made a friend there. I was afraid my cocky face scares everybody away T_T. well, I have to admit the fact I am always ALONE. T_T. one of the biggest reason is because I don’t speak mandarin. pfft.

do you like ze gay arms? I had always thought Jae Joong was really gay from the pictures =X. but the truth is, his arms are so bloody hot in reality. his face too. not gay AT ALL. T___T. in fact, he is like so perfect he looked like some sort of angel who just flew down from heaven wth. even from such a distance, I could see his amazing soft hair!

*drools*. I love Xiah’s voice the most. but he ain’t photogenic pfft. and all the pictures I had of him is blur T_T.

but Jae Joong was very sexy with those standing mic’s. pfft. he looked like he was caressing a woman!

PS : sigh, I am very busy nowadays. my assignments are like murderers. they might just kill me anytime. pfft. this is my latest assignment. one small part took me 3 hours. >=(. took a few days to get to THIS state. T_T.

let me tell you about some of my vaseline experiences. I have allergic skin all along, so usually if it gets too bad and unbearable I’ll use vaseline. especially when I’m feeling a little bit of itch and also when rashes become too bumpy. and just a tip, whenever you are going overseas to a cold place, carry some of these petroleum jelly because you can use it on your lips and your skin =D.

this is a joke I made with Natalie after watching this Korean Drama. the Gumiho drama. =D. that lady in the drama wanted to have “sexy lips” when talking to the guy she like and she thought saying UUUDON makes her look like Angeline Jolie. so..

Nat called me earlier that day but I was sleeping pfft then she called again I asked “when is the vaseline party harr?” then she said “5!!” and I thought it was at the 5th so I took my own sweet time and rested a little bit more after hiking. she smsed me and ask me “what time are you going!!” and it made me wonder if it was on the same day. I went online and check. it is INDEED on the same day. and it is STARTING IN 20minutes. T_T. so I rushed home, changed and rushed over. being 1 hour late wuwuwuwuwwuwu.

the awesome display. they stuck the pictures ON the wall! I saw them peeling it when it was over. and everybody was given 4 bottles of vaseline that would last me probably a year or two. very very generous of vaseline! and you have to LOVE these new vaseline products especially their Healthy White one (the pink bottle), it smells so good I think it would help me get my handsome Korean guys in Korea. =D!

Luna Bar. I’ve heard of it MANY MANY times but it was my first time there. it’s really pretty. <3.

but it is a little small so if you go on peak hours you might not get a nice spot to sit =X. so GO EARLY!

the food was amazing. Nuffnang serve better food each time it makes me want to know what is next!

especially the lamb! I had like three of those =X. pfft it was really dark at our table T_T. the small candle didn’t provide enough light for my camera. and my camera was running low on battery T_T.

Ginny picked this nice place on the side where this small pop-out deck had a three angle view on the city. and the KL tower in pink lighting was right behind us! I guess this is why people love Luna Bar so much =P.

this is that deck I was talking about. =D. and pretty Gin. she should make up more often. says Natalie too! Gin already look pretty without make up. but when she puts on make up, she’ll become like.. the spotlight of the night. =D.

when we heard Jojo Struys saying that she need 2 GIRLS on stage, Nat and I looked at each other. we wanted to go but we were sitting on a place where we have to take our shoes off. and wouldn’t make it in time. so when she said she needed ANOTHER pair of girls we quickly wore our shoes but was TOO late again T_T, somebody rushed to the stage already sigh. and THIRD time, Jojo actually saw the other pair and told them to come up but I guess somebody saw us wanting to rushing there too and told her so we got it =X. teehee thank you xD.

that game required one of us to be blindfolded and find out which is our friend by just touching their hand T_T. and the nuffies took off my ring. I was afraid she couldn’t recognize my hands wuwuwuwuwu. but Nat thinks my hand is very moist so she said it was pretty easy to find my hand <3.

but I think my “moist” come from my sweaty cold hands T_T.

the “most vibrant skin” contest. =D.

we 3 were all very berry happy because we walked away with a lot of stuff =X. we considered that night our lucky night hahaha!

but I guess everybody agrees with me that Gin looks stunning because..

T_T. she sang her own raya song which I felt is the BEST raya song. her voice is somewhat similar to Zee Avi’s too. except their style is a little bit more different. so if you love Zee Avi, you must love her too.
