Racism

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

today was one of the most hellish days I’ve ever been through.

my friend got into an accident. I was in the car. in the car, there’s yeecow’s 5D, my friends D90 and his macbook pro.

that grey Myvi DIDN’T put signal and he was driving very quickly. worst was, he was going on an illegal turning. HECK. instead, he blamed it all on my friend who was parking in the so called “illegal” parking. okay, he wasn’t right, but EVERYBODY does that, if you take a look at the rows in front and behind. it’s a normal thing to do.

the dent on his car was merely a 50cent coin. and he was making the biggest fuss in the whole wide world saying the cost to fix it will be 700 and he only wanted 500. saying that it was a DISCOUNT. he told us to give him whatever we have (if we must, our phone.) because he didn’t want more of “our people” to come. he kept telling us not for FORCE him to call over his gang of friends who will very unlikely talk to us nicely. which indirectly mean fight.

he even said that he is a gentleman for talking nicely to us and if he wasn’t nice, he would have taken all our cameras and all. but in reality, he was practically yelling at us, and to have the idea of taking our stuff, have he had not THOUGHT of doing it?

JEEZ. so we told him we had to rush an assignment (which is true. but we didn’t go back into Jusco to do it.) so we had to get outta there. my friend was also worried that that man will harm us, so he told us to leave along with all his stuff. me and another girl was afraid that he might bash our friend up because he looked like some sort of samseng. he have also been consistently criticizing my friend indirectly for saying his car is new and my friend’s car is just a proton bla bla bla, calling my friend a girl for staying inside the car and calling him a minor. so we went inside Jusco (the one in Balakong) and approached the guards working there. they gathered a big group of guards including the police officer over.

that Malay guy with his Myvi was at first saying stuff like “hey we are both Malay’s we should help each other” (@#&*(@&$*)@$)@ GO DIE LAH. at first the guards was believing in what he blabbed but later on the police that had listened to what I said explained to them and they were all on my friend’s side. THANK GOODNESS THEY BELIEVED IN JUSTICE. they were not racist. and I am proud to have such officers working in Malaysia though there are many like that Malay guy in Myvi. UGH.

heck. that took us two hours. my friend’s older buddy finally came and got the thing settled. phew. let’s hope they don’t seek for revenge. that guy didn’t look too sane.

there was this thing he kept saying.. ” I don’t want your money.. but you have to pay for the bengkok thing lah…”

Best Ha Kou Chee Cheong Fun@Penang

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

the best I have ever eaten, in Sin Seow Fong Lye Cafe, 94C, Macalister Lane, 10400 Penang.

IMG_2517

they’re like a kopitiam actually. =D.

IMG_2522 copy

I don’t really look like my mom =X. but we both love the chee cheong fun very much. we both had two BIG plate EACH!

IMG_2519

TADA! the Ha Kou Chee Cheong Fun! <3. the best thing I’ve ever tried. but if you hate ha kou, then don’t try it haha.

IMG_2520 copy

after being hit by the hazard caused by my chopsticks!

okay the shop is not only famous for these.

IMG_2525

their Char Kuey Teow is very famous as well. but the thing is, 90% of the kuey teow you can get will satisfy you. it isn’t the best, but it’s GREATTT.

IMG_2516

their menu. I had Omelette B, C was sold out T_T. trust me, it spells D_E_L_I_C_I_O_U_S. I thought it was just normal omelette at first so I didn’t take any picture of it. they didn’t use normal cheese. they used CREAM CHEESE. oh nom nom nom nom!

IMG_2528

otak-otak. I prefer the ones here compared to the ones in Muar, I’m weird. >=(. I like how they have those vegetables in it. YUMM. but the one sold at this coffee shop ain’t as good. go buy it from the “neighbour”.

IMG_2530

here’s the neighbour’s contact. not sure if it’s RM2.50 or what. somewhere there. it’s seriously damn good. T_T. I wanted more but we only went there once. sigh.

IMG_2566

and on the ferry, I thought I was going to face the most tragic situation of my life. the PETROL factory (Shell) was in that state. lucky it didn’t blow up or something. I was literally scared. T_T.

SATAY CELUP! Malacca

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

ever heard of Satay Celup? it’s basically lok-lok. but instead dipping it into boiling clear water, you dip them into boiling satay sauce!

IMG_3734

the most famous Satay Celup Restaurant in Malacca, Capitol Satay Celup. EVERYBODY in Malacca knows about it. so to find it, just ask around =D. we reached the shop at approximately 6pm, and there was already a long queue. so we rushed over and look.

IMG_3740

this is what’s behind us after 3 minutes? of waiting. it’s longer than what the picture shows actually, my bad estimation =(.

IMG_3759

and we left at about 8pm. ate for about an hour plus hahahha. it was GREAT. and as a person so new to it, eating almost everything is a MUST. you need to TRY! =D

IMG_3745

the inside seats. there are at most 10 tables from what I see, and their business is SO GOOD. pfft. look at the walls, most of them are singaporean celebrities.

IMG_3744

IMG_3757

they soon later brought a bucket of satay sauce. about the hygiene, I am not really sure about if they REUSE the satay sauces. but we usually just dip in it and take it out anyways, not like we lick it and put it back inside. what’s disgusting in my opinion is, IF they really reuse it, what if somebody coughed into the pot =X. or tercough or something. don’t know lah! but I guess there are no complaints since it’s so “laku”. =P.

IMG_3756

I have NO IDEA what they kept adding into the sauce, but it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. peanuts and sugar was one of the things I spotted. and something else.. it’s like those fragrant stuff which could be found in rendangs. I don’t really know how to describe it but it’s those long thin thingys =X. very delicious when eaten =D. chewy too.

IMG_3747

like the normal lok-lok, they charge by stick too =D. and they standardize it to 80cents each! =D. yum.

what I heard is so great about this place compared to the others, their seafood quality is really good.

quote from Natalie about delicious prawns : those prawns were literally bouncing! (haha she’s so cute and that is one good quote!)

and what she said could be applied to the prawns here. they are HUGE. I am allergic to them but I ate 3. to the lazy people out there : the prawns are skinned, don’t worry =D.

IMG_3749

my choice. exclude the vegetables, those are fatty Darren’s! =P.

those taiwan lapcheongs were awesome. they are like the number 1 thing I’d look for in pasar malam but who knows what chunks are in there to make it so tasty. =X. sometimes certain lapcheong I ate in china tasted lik intestines. ew. T_T. this is awesome too though =P.

and intestines are awesome too I just said ew for fun. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.

IMG_3748 copy

bread is a MUST order. it is SO DAMN GOOD. especially with the satay celup sauce. but then do be careful because dipping bread into the sauce is very different from dipping meat or cucumber in it. the bread soaked all the sauce in it, making it extra hot. watch out from burning your tongue!

IMG_3753

hello. =D.

and hi Wei Zhong. you need a haircut. he hates appearing in my blog. but this one is rare okay Zhong? pfft.

aiyah I must take a picture with the food to prove that I was actually really there. =P.

PROVEN!

Address : 41, Lorong Bukit Cina, Melaka

Chicken Ball Rice @ Malacca

Friday, August 13th, 2010

this is one of the more famous restaurant, called the “Famosa Chicken Rice Ball Restaurant”. it is located at Jonker Street but the one I had was.. where my GPS took me. it’s at the shop lots. =D. pretty near to Tan Kim Hock’s branched out shop. =D.

it’s basically the ordinary chicken rice RICE, squeezed into a ball — looks special, doesn’t taste special. it just makes me eat more rice because the rice became so compact. equivalent to : fatter.

we ordered pretty much just for the 3 of us. there was another plate of that rice ball. it is said that 5 riceballs = 1 plate of rice. but it doesn’t fill you so fast, because it’s in that form. haha. their poultry was.. quite good, not very but quite. I liked the chilli though =D. it is worth a try I’d say, but not something I would crave for.

I seldom have candids because I am very alert at when the camera points at me. but when other people are playing with my camera for an excessive time, I’d pay less attention. =D.

Malaysia’s next top model poses. HAHA. just joking. that shelter is so small if I were fatter, I couldn’t even squeeze in. the guys had to go in sideways already!

this is actually a trip suggested by Darren. he wanted to go on a short road trip as his birthday celebration with his two besties! awwwwww <3.

ugh, I HATE wearing flats whenever I meet both of them. they make me short.

we saw some Japanese aunties posing like.. how Darren’s posing. but much more dramatically. so we decided to do something similar =D. is it me or are the building’s fading. but red is no good, according to colour studies, it makes you more aggressive HAHAHA. =D.

Malacca is now under the world heritage site, by the way. =P.

I am scared of cats. not kittens but cats. they aren’t big but they’re always looking evil. >_<”.

meow.

my initial Idea didn’t work out. first, I had too little make up on. second, I don’t look emo, third, the weather ain’t helping me out on lightings.

so here’s the big poser trying to express my idea. phail.

he is usually not camera shy. just with mine. probably he knows it’ll be HERE. =P.

Wei Zhong’s work of art. the streets of Jongker on a weekday.

Darren is.. sigh.

it’s true. life would be dull and boring without him. heh.

Disgusted.

it isn’t a feeling that I am currently having, but it was, some time ago, and I just felt like sharing it. have you ever felt the feeling of being betrayed, mistreated, blamed and treated unfairly? well I had.

those feelings were so bad, they hurt more than when my dear dog died. in other words, they were almost suicidal. and inconsiderate people would not even know. they do their best to make you miserable, hated by others. they would lie, twist words, spread things untrue. of course, I had experienced it both ways; being the victim, and the bad person.

lets talk about being the bad person. I was about 13-14, I would talk about gossips that people tell me to other people just because I wanted to have more topics to talk about at the stage of wanting to have more friends, and that is because I didn’t know how it felt. but soon I came to realize that it isn’t something I should be bothered about. but I wasn’t as bad, because I did not CREATE them untrue fact, I heard them. but I was wrong, one shall never judge. it is normal to dislike somebody, but those who takes them seriously, are real cowards.

some people, in my opinion, people who wanted more attention, would create something new to attract people’s attention with some surreal, selfish story out of jealousy that they might not even know: and the bad part is, people actually believes in them. you might not even know these people whom created them, but they are definitely the devils behind your back. needless to say, everybody assume they are right. when friends tries to back you up, nothing will change because in their tiny black heart, they assume that you went for pity.

to deal with it? easy. just do not care about them. friends come and go, and if your friend doesn’t see the true beauty inside of you. they are just not worthy enough. but on the other hand, for those who are dealing with those situations for the first time, you might consider talking to somebody about it. I was once so angry I wanted to do something really bad, I wanted to expel that person from school. it is possible. once I read from a magazine that some people were accused of being who they are not so horribly, they suicided. and in the book, it’s written that by law, it’s somehow illegal, even if you’re a kid.

I have not dealt with such issues for a very long time, but I heard that in many colleges and companies, problems as such still exist. and if you’re involved, just stay calm and ignore. do not run away from it, but face it. nobody is perfect and people with least humanity would pick on your bad side, and most of the time, exaggerate them.

you know what’s next. PENANG! xD.

*points* my hair is BROWNISH! pfft. so much for dyeing such a light colour. sigh. they said the only way to dye my hair is to BLEACH it.

NO!

LG Cookie Monster Party!

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

walked all the way from KLCC after Nanta to Neutral! I thought it’d be scary but no. it’s pretty near and KLCC have very friendly guards to lead you. it’s right next to Modesto’s. Modesto’s served very good food for this event. absolutely delicious. and what I wore was pretty last minute. I brought two dresses over there. one, zebra, another, bunny. I brought the bunny band. but bunnies are a bit.. hmm, common. so finally, I decided on being a ZEBRAAA =D. had all my make up done there! awesome not?! >=).

hello! I am not stitch. I am just a Zebra wearing Stitches ears. you might think, I am NOT really a m0nster. but if you’d see a Zebra in human form, what you’d call it? heh. =D.

PS : TAN ZEBRA T_T. and it takes me forever to get fair. pfft.

actually I wanna be fair so I can be mistaken as another race only HAHAHA WTH.

Yee Jin, Hooi Nee and Lionel. they all had something blue, and well, me too even though it’s borrowed keke.

she wore a cape! and that stick is just too awesome.

we collected cookies to bid for some disgusting cookie and hoped to win a phone but there wasn’t any T________T. how sad pfft we did the nobody dance for NUHTHINK! okay, for a pair of gold class cinepasses and a CD. hahahaa. about 6 of us shared! how to divide?! T_T.

Coco, the mummy. she won a best dressed yo! I almost felt like I was attending a halloween party HAHAA. but she even made a little baby monster to accompany her. respect! and they all did their own costume out of erm, cloth they can find.

those blood, are POSTER COLOURS. dangerous to touch them. HAHA. (poster colour can’t be washed off =(.)

the biggest camwhore, Feeq. his camera is awesome, I want to steal =(. for a lens that could fit 20 people in a CAMWHORE picture? WHY NOT HAHAHA.

KENNY SIA!

my mom reads his blog. I am serious.

she told me she was bored and wanted to read some interesting stuff and I introduced her to Kennysia.com. initially she was telling me “huh? who is this? the website so normal one?” and after a few days, I find her stalking ALL Kenny’s posts. hahahahah!

Audrey, also fourfeetnine.

shes so pretty T_T.

she complimented on my dress and I told her, it’s only 30 bucks! and she went all frustrated and said “AHH! MINES 35!” she’s so cute +D.

closer look at my face art? =D. drawn with eyeliners. white and black. by me! =D.
