not just Chinese Food.

you don’t have to only eat Chinese food in China seriously. (oh my I am still blogging about China’s food. there’s a LOT to blog about really! super salivating. <3 like it or not just read it! =P.)

here’s the asian-heritage-row-look-alike. a western coffee house. extremely beautiful, quite pricey, great view. and totally no loud ear deafening musics. andddd.. I forgotten to take a picture of the view. =O. anyway I’ve always had this thinking that beautiful places would serve disgusting food because they spend too much on their image and forgotten about their menu; letting people pay for ONLY the environment. living in China for quite a period of time, I have learned that most shops couldn’t survive if they don’t have a certain standard! (or it can be super cheap as well to cater the lower financial status. there are more beggars than guards at some places!) well at least at Guang Zhou, Xia Men and some other places that I’ve been to. never trust TOUR FOOD because they bring you to the worst they can find.

the concept. ahh, the westernized feeling mm. it’s cozy and nice, perfect for meeting up with your business friends or your old friends for some long comfortable chat. this is actually one of my dad’s favourite hang out place in Xia Men. the picture I took of the main building (converted from a house!a bungalow!) is quite.. not clear. so too bad, I took pictures of another one though. hee. it is basically a row of 3 storey bungalows facing the lake at their back yard and most people renovated it and turned it into some cafe. in the row of maybe 10 houses only around 2 is still a HOUSE.

the cafe that I like most (from the outside). white is just so attractive <3. and it feels so mind calming mm.

my dad’s coffee (latte?). very creatively done. and now I want to learn how to do that! but geez if I stare at it often I will be so sad that I will have a lower self esteem and I will always think about the negative part of myself and also always fretting about my caffeine allergy. sigh. can see cannot drink =((. but can smell! (damn torturing =/)

but it is still cool! I want to learn! =X.

if you go to China, you must eat.. GREENTEA ICE CREAM! <3. especially during winter >=D cold only syok. wahahahhahaha *chokes*.

the bestest of the best moousecake I’ve ever had! it is SO damn nice. how can it be so firm yet so creamy? Mmmmmm. missing it already. in fact I wanted to have another piece. but I think it costs around 10-15 bucks ringgit per piece eeheee. not cheap =X. not good right, pay more money and yet it will make me fatter. =/. I just won’t pay to get even fatter because I’ve already paid to get fat. what am I talking about? @@.

Daddy : the best tiramisu yet! (this is actually his main purpose coming to this shop)

Jamie : really! but got caffeineee T_T.

Daddy : a little is alright..

*scoops*

Jamie melted on the spot.

NEXT, korean food in China is WAY better than the korean food in Malaysia. probably better than the one in Korea too. ahm, the cook is a korean so of course right ahhahaha.

chilli squid. this dish that is sold for RM40 in Malaysia, there, only RMB30 (RM15) for a more or less the same portion. it was my first time eating this dish because I am too stingy to pay RM40 just for squids. and oh yeah it is very good <3. I shall learn how to cook it! ( I cooked dok buk kki; korean rice cakes with Yunan’s chilli and it almost killed my family’s tastebuds although they said it is good. at least it is good! evidence is : my sister wanted to eat more eventhough she had an super duper big ulcer at that time. you can ask her!)

I’ve done that latte art before and others. Not hard to do just tons of practice at a coffee shop
